You and Noah have been friends since you were about 10 years old. You went to all his hockey games growing up and he went to all your sporting events. You went to all his college games when you could and you were honored to go to his draft day.
As the draft went on when the Hurricanes called his name, you and his family were all confused because you couldn't tell if it was him until his agent said it was and everybody jumped up and hugged him. He went down the line hugging his family and when he got to you he KISSED you. It wasn't a tongue or anything like that it was a peck. You smiled as he put the jersey and cap on.
You and his family walked to the waiting room and saw his interview with Kathryn.
"So Noah how are you feeling?"
"Overwhelmed, so excited, I have a great family and their here makes it so much better." He said smiling.
"Who is here with you?" She asked.
"My sister, brother and parents and my best friend Y/N."
"She's the lady who you hugged extra especial at the end their." Kathryn said laughing. "If you could thank people for this who would it be?"
"My parents for sticking with me through the whole thing. My coaches and Boston College and Y/N my best friend. She's been with me since I was ten and went to all my game growing up. She planned on going to college with me; where ever would take me." He said smiling and looking at the camera.
Once Noah walked in the room everyone cheered and it was great. His mom was tearing up and his dad was so happy for him.
After the photos of the whole group and the ones with him and his family. Then him and his siblings. He asked you to get one of him and you.
"Y/N! Come here." Noah said to you.
He kissed you on the cheek and the photographer took the photo.
A few hours later you and Noah were sitting by the hotel pool.
"I'm so happy for you." You say snuggling into his shoulder. Then Noah took your face and started kissing you passionately.
"I'm going to miss you when I'm playing." He said holding your chin up.
"Well I'll be in Boston. So if you need me." You say giggling.
"Move to North Carolina with me! I mean you are my girlfriend now." He said smirking and excited.
"I will after college."
"Promise Y/N?" He said teasing.
"What are we ten again?" You asked giggling.
"Yes. So pinky promise me." Noah said sticking his pinky out for you to grab. You did and you swore on it and he kissed you again before you iced into his hotel room for the night.
