You woke up to three best friends jumping in your bed and singing happy birthday to you super loud. You tried to pull the covers over your head but y/BFF/N kept pulling your arms back.
"Y/N! Wake up!!!" One of your friends yelled.
"Why?!"
"Your turning 21 today!!!" Your other friend called out. You leisurely walked out of bed and stopped at looked at the framed photo of you and Ryan. He was coming home today but not until 10:00 pm. You were a little sad but remembered it was your 21st birthday!
*Time pass*
The day was going amazing with your friends throwing you a little brunch at your favorite cafe. All your friends were there and you got great gifts. Ryan still hadn't called you to wish you happy birthday but you knew he was at practice. You got in your car and drove home. You pulled up to see a little brown box that was decorated very nicely. You opened the box to see a letter from Ryan.
"Happy birthday Y/N! I love you so much so hers some things to remind you of that. See you soon hun."
It had the envelopes that are all over Twitter. The ones that say "open when your sad" or "open when your happy". You smiled and moved them aside to see a deck of cards that said "52 reasons I love you" you quickly skimmed through them to see Ryan's hand writing. You smiled and put everything back in the box. You opened your front door to see balloons covering your house and Ryan standing there with red roses. You ran up to him and jumped in his arms. You kissed his cheek and wrapped your legs around his torso.
"I thought you forgot." You say a tad embarrassed.
"I love you Y/N! I couldn't forget you." He said setting you down.
He then pulled a bag out from behind his back and handed it to you. It was about a 6 by 8 in bag. You opened it to see a 3 heart ring. You teared up and he kissed your forehead.
"I love you." You say hugging him.
