I woke up from my sleep at the same time I do every night which is 12:00 am, I always wonder why I wake up at this time.
Then again I am different from all the other kids here, I'm 15 and i keep to myself the other kids don't like me because I'm not the same.
I always wanted to be adopted by a loving family but every time people look at me they say "she looks like her mother and father" I never understood.
Anyways I have only one friend here who is the same age but is just a bit older than me, his name is Jack I decided I wasn't going back to sleep So I walked into the bathroom in my room and took a shower, then after my shower i brushed my hair and teeth, I then put on my black sweats pants and my black T-shirt and favorite white hoodie.
I sat on my bed drawing things like flowers, trees, and forests and after the sun started to come up all the kids were summoned for breakfast.
I walked out of my room and smiled because jack is always waiting for me, then we walked into the room we eat in and me and jack sat at an empty table to talk to each other
"So how did you sleep?" Jack asked "good, you?" I asked "great" jack said "so what are you going to do today?" Jack asked "probably draw and write in my journal" I said
"What type of things do you write in your journal?" Jack asked "nothing" I said blushing "can I please see" he begged "only a few pages" I said chuckling
"Fine with me" he said also chuckling and he began to read silently in his head

I'm sick of living here, all I wanted was to be loved by people who care for me but apparently that is to much for someone such as myself.
Maybe I don't get that kind of happiness, maybe I don't deserve it.
But all I know is that I'm not wanted here, all the kids hate me.and adults hate me the people who truly care is mother Helen and Jack, the family I have right now the family I need.
I was blushing uncontrollably and I looked up and saw jack smiling "I appreciate that you let me listen" he said and he gave me a hug I hugged back and
jacks skin is tan and he has emerald green eyes and brown hair his hair reached about to his upper back mine goes down to my waist I'm like 5ft 10inch
I looked and saw some of the workers ring a bell and that signals that we go outside and play me and jack walked out together and walked to a shade spot
We leaned on the tree and I just looked at the sky while holding my normal and my note book that I draw in "I can't wait to get out of this place" I herd jack say "why?" I asked
"Because then I'm going to come back and get you out of here " he said i looked at him "really?" I asked "yes we are friends till the end" he said
I smiled and continued to look at the sky after about an hour I herd the Bell again and this time signals we can have free time inside like watch t.v, games E.T.C
I didn't want to be around the other kids so I decided to go to my room and go to sleep.
