The last few weeks had gone by hectically, with working in the garage, Mia calling me nonstop because she had a 'bad' feeling and was worrying about me, looking after Elle, and with Han still dipping into yakuza money like it was nothing.
I'm surprised I hadn't had an aneryesm to go along with my amnesia.
"Hello Kitty, I'm going out. You're in charge," I tell Reiko as I slip on my leather jacket, grabbing my keys.
Twinkie and Earl immediately start to complain as the former makes a big tantrum about it, "Why her? I'm a guy, no offence, Rei-" he says when the Japanese girl scoffs.
Opening my car door, I glance at him, "because if there was a zombie outbreak, out of the three of you, I'd expect her to be the last one standing. That and she doesn't annoy me as much as you two do. Also... this isn't a man's world anymore, Twinkle Toes."
"Rose!" I stop as Reiko calls out to me in her school uniform. The kids had been staying in the pods more than usual and were around more than before. "Will you be back for the races tonight?"
"Yeah, later. Go to school, be good." I tell them and get into my car, pulling out of the lot and towards the destination where I had been messaged to go.
It wasn't long until I was driving into the container yard, concealing my gun. I get out of my car and glance around for someone. My mind racing as I try to figure out who had the ability to get in contact with me.
"Baby Torretto?" I hear and sigh, turning to see the full-suited 'Mr. Nobody' motioning me over to an empty container.
Grumbling, I lock my car and walk over, making sure to quickly scope the area. "I've shot people for less, just so you know."
"Yes, I'm well aware of your 'talents'. That's why I called this little 'impromptu' meeting." The older man says with a knowing smile as he closes the door behind me.
The container is lit with some battery-powered lights, and I see some portable tech on a table.
"I know we've talked about Elle, but I've done a lot of research and digging about you. I've seen your work, heard some stories, and so I think you and I need to have a little talk." He says, turning to look at me, "I need your help, Rosalie. We need your help".

Driving into the parking garage, I see others appraising my purple skyline. I could see girls taking pictures on their overly pink accessorized phones as I parked up next to the Nissan that Han and I had affectionately dubbed 'The Mona Lisa'.
It had been hard work getting both cars done, especially now we've got a lot going on, but we managed.
As I get out of my car, a horde of people crowd around my car, taking pictures and selfies. I just walk through them as I move over to Han, who was standing by DK and a horde of women. The older man raised an eyebrow since I had been MIA most of the day.
