Wei WuHui stared at the glowing Yunmeng Jiang Sect motif in the sky after Jin Ling igniting the flare for back-ups before turning back to Wen Ning, who was also staring at the glowing motif. "Wen Ning, leave," She began, gaining the latter's attention as the woman's eyes glowed red. "Leave."
Hearing the second command, Wen Ning finally moved as he made a massive leap. However, it was too late as a powerful strike from an all familiar purple whip came out from the mist and send Wen Ning flying back.
Every eye looked up and saw the thundering appearance of the Jiang Sect Leader, Jiang WanYin, standing on his sword while holding his infamous whip, Zidian.
"A-Diē!" Jiang YingYue called out, her eyes brightening in relief at seeing her father's arrival.
Jiang WanYin did not heed his daughter's cry as his attention was mainly on the Ghost General as he glared with utter rage and hatred at him. "Wen Ning!"

Meanwhile, Wei WuHui quickly hid behind one of the mummified corpses as she did not want to take any chances if her once martial brother suddenly turn his rage onto her.
Next minute, an intense battle took place between Jiang WanYin and Wen Ning as the Sect Leader swung Zidian with deadly precision while Wen Ning would dodge each strike with ease. At some point, the battle then turned into a fierce hand-to-hand combat after Wen Ning managed to pulled Jiang WanYin from the sky.
However, the battle came to a standstill when Jiang WanYin managed to restrained Wen Ning with Zidian, electrifying purple energy igniting the misty night.
Suddenly, veins began to popped from Wen Ning's neck as the Ghost General then used his chains to unrooted a nearby log from the ground and swung it toward Jiang WanYin. Which caused the Sect Leader to release Zidian from Wen Ning and struck at the log, cutting it in half with his whip.
But it was a distraction as Jiang WanYin looked around, seeing that Wen Ning took the chance and made his escape.
"A-Diē!" Jiang WanYin were about to chase after the Ghost General but his daughter's second cry for him stopped him as he then floated back down to the ground, landing in front of his awaiting Jiang disciples.
