The sounds of students interacting with one another filled the corridors with lively noises. The new school year has started, and gladly, the last.
School was never a good place to be in. If there were a book of reasons, I'm sure it'll reach at least a decade to write.
"Hey looks like someone has risen from the dead" Richard said raising his voice so that the whole people around could hear. All his friends cracked up overlapping the other's chatter. Everyone turned around to face me. Heat rushed up my cheeks as I ran away
Arriving my locker, I quickly unlocked it not wanting to stay there any longer. Grabbing my books I heard a group of girls whispering loudly.
"Have you heard of this new band?"
"Yes I have! 5sos is just deadly amazing."
They were talking about some boyband. Probably similar to one direction.
I walked towards the direction of my physics class. I walked down the alley looking down not wanting to see the incredulous looks people gave me.
I had no idea why they were picking on me. They never knew anything about me.
They didn't know that I have abnormalities. My blue eyes occasionally will glow and I could move objects without touching them.
I discovered it when I was around 10. I was petrified at first, being in my room trying to control my glowing eyes. It was truly mortifying
In roughly 7 years, I have learnt to roughly control it. Accidents still happen occasionally but nothing to serious.
I arrived in my history class earlier than all the others. I placed my books on the table and waited for the teacher to come.
The teacher came soon after. He goes by Mr.Ramirez. I was one of his favourite students mostly because I kept my mouth shut and never complained about homeworks and such. He thinks that I enjoy history but the truth is, history is living hell.
*time skip to last class*
I head to my last class which happens to be chemistry. Chemistry has always interested me since I was a 13 year old girl.
It told me lots of things on how the world works, how states of matter changes and concoction of chemicals. When the teacher or anyone wasn't looking I use my abnormalities to move the flask making it easier to do my task.
Arriving at home, my mom nor my dad were home. It was always me home alone. My family isn't like a family. My parents argue a lot making the house like living hell. My wish is to have a sibling. I don't understand when people say they hate their siblings. Siblings obviously save each other from boredom.
Walking up the creaky wooden floors I opened the door to my room and sat on my chair. I opened my Biology book and started doing my homework.
Sighing, I closed my book and head downstairs. My parents were still out doing who knows what. I made my sandwich alone.
In everything there's.always a positive side. Despite the loneliness I was having,my parents, without knowing, taught me on how to live independently ever since I was little. They started fighting at my age of 11. It was torcher at first but the weight is slowly getting lighter. It was as if I was carrying baby birds and now they've learnt how to fly.
The sound of the door bursting open made me flinch. I turned back only to see my drunk father. No matter how many times he burst out the door,I would never get used to it. I want my sweet caring father back.
"Allison! What are you doing!" my father shouted as he slammed the table with his hands. "I'm eating my-"I was interrupted with a slap to the face. I scurried up to my room like a hopeless little mouse who just got caught by the owner of the house.
I decided to stay in bed, scrolling through the world of social media.
My fingers started typing on my the tiny screen. '5SOS'. A new band I guess, it was the one the girls were talking about. Despite curiosity, I checked their songs and their accounts on the Internet. Turns out their quite famous already and their songs are pretty good.
It was nearing midnight and I could hear shouts from the bottom floor. My parents, arguing again. It was never peace, like ever.
I looked into my mirror to find my eyes glowing. I switched off the song that was playing through my headphones. I took a deep breath as I closed my eyes. I slowly opened them again revealing my normal eyes.
I rested my head on my pillow as my eyes flustered shut. Soon I was drifting off to my second heaven where no one could harm me. Sleep.
Yes. Okay grammar errors ik. Okay HOodBYE.
