SPECIAL CHAPTER <3
Dara's POV:
I frowned at the girl in the mirror. I did, not because I didn't find her attractive, but because I didn't recognize her.
She was wrapped in a luxurious sleeveless lace gown, her auburn hair pulled up to a curly bun donned with tiny crystals and flower accents, her pale face was with a hint of blush, her lips of the subtlest pink and the whole being before me left me in awe.
Is this my reflection?
I don't think so. And so I frowned at her again.
She frowned back at me, to my surprise and I shake my head earning me a light slap on my arm.
"Yah, stop moving unnie!"
It was Charlotte. She was in charge of my make up for today and I could not be any happier I made the right choice.
For I am not really comfortable being dolled up just by anyone but the girls. Besides, they have already volunteered for the tasks with regards to this big but intimate day- Charlotte for my hair and makeup, Brooke for my dress, and Misty for the food service.
I smile as I recollect how many sleepless nights we spent planning for this day. James was really in a rush to have this wedding after that night we proposed to each other. Oh, if he heard me he might go berserk again. He hates it everytime I say we proposed to each other. I used to think it was because of his pride but mom said it was not.
Well, I still don't get how James' mind works sometimes but what's important is that we love each other and now, we are both finally ready to make our dreams come true, together.
I looked up to Charlotte when I noticed the pink blush on my cheeks.
"Don't you think my make up's too thick?"
"Yah..." she protested, walking around from behind until she was in front of me. "Unnie, I barely put on any make up on your already blushing-bride face. I just applied sunblock and tinted moisturizer on your skin and also dabbed some gloss on your lips."
"But..." I looked at my own reflection once more and pursed my lips. "I look... a bit different."
"Unnie... Believe me, you have always been this pretty. Why you don't see that, I don't know. But you are beautiful and right now, you are just the most beautiful bride I have ever seen,"
I lowered my gaze to my still flat but firm tummy. It was still too early to feel the life in it moving but I felt something coiling and swirling inside. I bite my lip at the silly thought.
I got some butterflies in my stomach and the baby's playing with it.
"Unnie?"
"Yes?" I turn to Charlotte and she was looking at me as if I was some sort of a crazy ahjumma.
Well I am.
"We would not want to keep the groom and guests waiting, would we?"
"Now let me see, let me see,"
Charlotte and I both whipped our heads towards the door when we heard Brooke come in. Misty was right behind her, too.
"Oh my God. Thank goodness! What a relief!" Brooke dramatically gasped when she saw me. I arched my brows.
"W-w-why?" I asked as I looked at them three.
"Ah. Don't mind Brooke." Misty answered as she zoned around me, checking my entire self. She smiled at me with satisfaction before backing away. "She was just glad there were no dark eyeliners all over your eyes." She said which earned her a slap on her arm from Charlotte.
