Chapter 4

Merideths POV

I smiled at the realisation on how lucky I was.

"Take a shower, you're sticky from the syrup!" I told Luke as I handed him a fluffy towel.

"Haha! So do you!" He said poking his tongue at me. I laughed as I picked up a face washer from the basin and wiped my face, not caring in the slightest if I removed any of my makeup. Through the reflection of the mirror, I saw Luke remove his shirt, resulting in him standing shirtless. I couldn't help but stare.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer" Luke chuckled as I stopped staring. I smiled and rolled my eyes before exiting the bathroom and into Luke and Jais room where I plopped myself down on the bed. I heard the shower turn on, and Luke singing, which made me laugh. I unlocked my phone and sent a test to my best friend, Ella.

To Ella:

Guess who's not a single Pringles anymore? :p

Laughing at myself, I felt my phone vibrate between my hands.

From Ella:

NO WAY! OMG! WITH WHO?!? IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!

To Ella:

Yes way! With Luke! That's who! You're the first one I've told. I feel so lucky to finally be able to call him mine. <3

From Ella:

OH MY GOD! CONGRATS MER! I am so so so happy for you! Tell me everything! 😍

To Ella:

Thankyou! Okay, we'll last night Luke came home from Dani's house and was really upset, so he asked me if he could sleep at mine. We layed together and he poured his heart out to me. It turned out that Dani was cheating on him -- with LOGAN! He told me that he's loved me for so long, but fucked up with Dani to try and make me jealous. I was pretty much crying because we basically both confessed out feelings for eachother. Anyway, this morning they broke up, and well, Luke couldn't wait to be able to call me his. So now we're dating :3

Tears stung my eyes as I realised once again how sweet and perfect Luke really was.

From Ella:

Awwwwwwh! Meridethh! That's the cutest thing ever! I'm so proud of you! I love you beautiful!<3

"So, who you texting?" Luke asked as he entered the room and lay down beside me.

"Just Ella." I replied, smiling.

"Ah, cooleo!" He said tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

Luke grabbed his phone and opened Instagram, smiling at me.

"Selfie time!" He said laughing.

A few 30 snaps later, we finally had the perfect picture, the two of us, laughing, just enjoying eachothers company. A perfect photo.

"This ones a keeper!" Luke said as he posted it and also saving it as his wallpaper. I did the same thing.

"I need to take a shower" I said walking to the door.

Crap! I have no extra clothes!

"Luke, I gotta run home and grab some clothes" I said, which made look pout.

"Borrow some of mine! It's too cold to go outside!" I smiled at his adorableness.

Walking over to his wardrobe, I pulled out an oversized hoodie and a beanie and walked into the bathroom. The steamy water sent over a wave of satisfaction as each and every drop hit my skin. I quickly and carefully washed my hair and body before stepping out of the shower and wrapping myself in a warm, fluffy towel. I quickly changed into Luke's hoodie and put my leggings back on, and then adjusted the beanie on my head. I walked back into the bedroom where I found Luke taking more selfies.

"You're so cute!" I said laughing as I layed down beside Luke, where he pulled me into a hug.

"And you're perfectly adorable" Luke said, giving me goosebumps.
