Music Notes {Harry AU}

Chapter 5

Everyone talks about elevator music in the movies. But I've never actually heard any in my entire life. False hopes. 

The elevator slowly moved up floor by floor picking up a couple people here and there. Atleast it wasn't packed and someone cut the cheese on me. 

I reached my destination floor and walked down the long narrow hall. I was wondering where Josh disappeared to. I was hoping to run into him maybe, but he is probably doing much more important stuff than talking to me right now. 

I knocked fairly loud incase they couldn't hear over the music like last time. Josh had to open the door with his keys because Lou was twerking her life out. 

After what seemed like minutes the door swung open. 

I was greeted in by a frantic Lou. 

"Brooklyn, I'm so glad your here. I need you to watch Lux because none of the boys are able to and I have to get them ready. Management needs me to do like all this other stuff and.."

"Sure Lou, anything else you need help with just let me know." I cut her off with a chuckle.

She gave me a quick smile and was off. I saw Lux on the floor and squatted down to her level. My legs were giving up on me so I sat criss cross applesauce styled. 

She had this horse which I assumed was her favorite since she knocked the rest of the toys away. I decided to stay far away from the horse. Next thing Lux attacks me.

I was on my phone browsing. When Lux came up and walked towards me. She sat on my lap and made herself comfortable with her trusty horse in her hand. 

Guessing it was my phone that caught her attention I quickly downloaded this cow game for her. 

I decided to put her hair in pigtails since it was still quite short.

"She likes you" A dark yet welcoming voice said from behind me. 

I turn around to see Harry.

"She seems to like my phone more than me" I chuckled as he made his way to my direction. He sat on the floor across from me and Lux ran towards him. "Guessing she has a thing for you" I gestured to the almost tripping Lux. 

"What can I say. The ladies love me. Maybe you might find yourself falling for this someday." 

I didn't even get to respond he just got up and walked leaving Lux by my side.

I was somewhat amused and offended at his comment. The fact that he thinks all women and girls are  just obsessed with him made me laugh but cocky much. He walked with so much pride as if he won a medal for talking to me. 

All I know is he's the last of my worries and that I will be falling for Dylan not Harry. 

Lou came back taking me out of my thoughts. She told me to head to Linda and she will tell me what to do from there. 

Once again I made my way through the narrow hall only to find Harry leaning up against the wall. I ignored his presence still annoyed from earlier. I tried to walk past him quickly without making any contact. 

I felt his cold hand touch mine and turned me around. What is this I'm feeling. It's like he's taken over and is in charge all of a sudden. 

I looked up to meet his piercing green eyes. 

"Listen I know earlier I sounded cocky or whatnot but when I see something I like I go crazy" his hot breath sent shivers down my spine. "Do you do this too all the girls that catch your eye." And with that I continued to walk down making my way to managements room.
