The morning rays shone onto Carlos' smiling face as he awoke, stretching into the cold fabric of his sheets. Surprise filled him when he felt nothing. The scientist sighed to himself, realizing it had just been a dream after all. While on the verge of falling back asleep, his radio inexplicably turned on and he heard a voice like one he had never heard before. It was deep, creating unique meaning in every word. How scientifically interesting. Carlos continued to sit on his bed, listening to the broadcast for what seemed like hours. Time worked strangely in this new place.
