Hi! This is a one-shot I pulled out of my archives that I wrote a really long time ago. The song Kiss Me Slowly was the inspiration and I hope you like it! I do not own Lucy or Gray, if I did, Fairy Tail would be much more confusing and would have a constant love triangle!

Lucy opens the door to find Gray standing in the hall.

"Hi!" the blonde says to the ice mage.

"I have something important that I need to tell you." Gray says as he breathes heavily.

"Okay, come in. Did you run here?" Lucy asked him as she moved out of the way so he can come into her apartment.

Well, I'm not sure what this is gonna be,
But with my eyes closed all I see
Is the skyline, through the window,
The moon above you and the streets below.

She stood by as it fell apart,
Separate rooms and broken hearts,

"Yeah, I did." the ravenette says to the celestial mage.

"Do you want something to drink?" Lucy said as she walked into her kitchen.

"Yeah. Water would be great.". Lucy walks into the kitchen and grabs a glass to fill with water. She puts in some ice and then heads back to where Gray is sitting now.

"So what did you want to tell me?" Lucy questions gently.

"I... I wanted to tell you..." Gray stutters as Lucy sits down next to him. He stands up quickly and goes to stand by the window.

"I... I love you Lucy." he whispers so quietly that she can't hear what he says. Lucy stands up and walks over to the ice mage.

"What did you say Gray? I couldn't hear you." Lucy gently says to the ravenette.

"I am sorry..." Gray says and then leans towards the blonde. Lucy feels something soft and warm on her lips. She closes her eyes and kisses back. Their shadows melding together and the sunlight coming from the window makes colors splash around them. They pull back softly at the same time.

"Huh. I always thought your lips would be colder." Lucy states.

"You like me?" Gray makes sure he is getting this right.

"Yes." Lucy tells him and then he pulls her into another kiss, this one longer and showing more emotion.

"Stay with me, please."
