(Prologue)
Cassandra Ashley F. Cruz lived her whole life pretending to be someone she really isn't. She was tired of living all her life trying to make people she truly cares about to love her back. Cassandra was born in the historical country of the Philippines but her family needed to go to abroad and live in New York, America because of financial problems. She lived all her life growing up in New York and has never seen her home country. She grew up and became a very pretty petite girl; she was a very intelligent student who follows all her parents' orders. She has always been a goody two-shoes. She was loved by many people and was very famous in the town she is living in. Guys in her school drool over her when they see her but things don't seem enough for her. She realized that all of the things she achieved are all because of her trying to be someone perfect, someone who is always happy and can overcome all problems and trials in life, someone who she really isn't... The truth is that she is nothing but a weak and helpless girl with lots of problems and things in mind. She is scared to get into relationships and she has never truly found her inspiration, her dream guy, Mr. Right Guy. Will she ever find him? Will she ever find the true happiness she has been asking for her whole life?
Justin Alejandro D. Lucas and Dustin Alejandro D. Lucas are identical twins with an almost complete opposite attitude and manners. Justin is this school hottie who loves playing with girl's hearts. He is lazy, he hates following his parents, he keeps hanging out with his friends and keeps partying even during late at night so all in all, he is a complete jerk who only thinks about himself. What a complete selfish bastard! While on the other hand, Dustin is the school's Mr. Nice Guy who is very loving and thoughtful of other people, he never does stuff to hurt other people, he thinks of others before himself. He always follows everything his parents make him do; he was busy with lots of stuff that he never gave way for love. He thinks that love is just a big headache and will just hurt him in the end so he never tried to get that intimate with a girl before but that doesn't mean that he is also a player like his brother. Actually he just doesn't take his relationships that seriously since he doesn't want to be close with any girl. He has never really taken a liking to any girl before but not until Cassandra came into his life. The problem is that he is very mysterious and keeps his secrets to himself so how can Cassandra help him fix all his problems? Do you think that he will be ready to let someone inside his heart? Will he finally have a happily ever after? Or will he just end up heartbroken like he thinks he would if he ever falls in love? If he doesn't end up with Cassandra then who will? Is it Justin or Cassandra's new guy best friend, Joshua Nathan L. Thomas? Well maybe Justin isn't really as bad as everyone thinks he is, just because he hurts girls doesn't mean that he is a real bad guy. Maybe he just has a past that made him turn out to be who he is now. Read more and get involved with Cassandra's new life when she moves back from abroad into her birth town where lots of people have been awaiting for her return.
