Stella's POV.

I've been in New Zealand for 12 hours and so far I've gone through five boxes of donuts and two pints of ice cream. This hurt so much. Did he even ever love me? I hadn't even been gone for a week and he was already with some new hoes. How could he betray me like this. Ring ring. It was Joe, I frown and decline his calls. Ding! New voicemail from Joe Jonas!! My phone read. A part of me wanted to open the voicemail and call him back and run to Cali. But no, this isn't something he can just apologize for and except me to get over. I fall back into my bed. I need to get out and explore the city. I have such a great opportunity here and I shouldn't be spending it inside worrying about some boy who never even cared about me. I decide to go for a stroll on the beach. The people here a very welcoming and I just love the food. I walked into this tiny cafe to order a beverage to quench my thirst, it's really hot out here.
"Hello ma'am, what would you like to order," said the waiter. He was cute, like really cute, almost looked like joe. "Surprise me," I said with a curled smile. He came back with some sort of fruit, it looked like a coconut but it was green. It tasted good. He came back later my check. I wasn't feeling very good and I threw up all over his shoes.
"Oh my goodness I'm so sorry! I'll get you a new pair," I said as I threw up again.
"It's okay! Here, let me get you back to your apartment so you can get some rest," he said. He carried me up to my apartment, which wasn't too far from the beach. "Thank you so much, what was your name again?" I asked.
"My name is Phoenix," he said. " I owe you a drink Phoenix, why don't you come inside."
After a couple drinks Phoenix and I had become totally comfortable with each other. I'd never laughed that much in my life. Even when I was dating joe. I dropped one of the wine glasses on the floor and we both reached for it. When our hands touched, it felt like magic. I had never felt a spark like that in my life. His hands went up the side of my neck, caressing my jaw as he pulled me in closer. I could almost taste his breath. He fell into me, our lips moving in unison. When I breathe he breathes. We were one. I've never felt so in sync with someone as I am right in this very moment.
