EVE POV

It has been five days since i came back to the castle. I was so angry when Durga literally ordered me to come home. But when the academy authorities asked what if wanted to go home or stay the next day i did exactly what she said and came back home like a good little girl.
I groaned and shut the book on my lap close. Not like i was reading it anyway.
I snuggled into a pillow in my little reading nook and closed my eyes. They still hurt and give blurry vision sometimes.
As always my mother didn't give a fuck about me. She was not even aware of my injury untill i came back home in a wheelchair.
"call her "my wolf almost screamed for the thousandth time from the morning.
" i won't "i screamed back.
I was getting tired of this fights.

" what exactly you won't Eve? "my grandmother's voice said making me jump out of my skin.

Did i just screamed out loud?

" you should stop scaring me like that"i said sitting up and scooting away to make a place for gramma to sit.
She settled in and pulled a huge pillow one her lap.
"is that about your mate? "she asked softly looking in my eyes.
I looked down as i played with my fingers nervously.
" my wolf keeps insisting on calling her. But i don't want to"
"and why don't you want to call her i may ask? "she asked
I closed my eyes and lay my head on her lap closing eyes. She ran her fingers slowly through my hairs.
"she scares me Grammy ?" i said, my voice a bit muffled as i was trying desperately to keep the sobs down which were threatening to expose their self any moment.
"i am scared of her power, her secrets.i am scared of what people will say, what mother will say. I am scared of that she is a she "i almost whispered the last part.
Grammy pulled me up and held my chin to make me meet her eyes.
" Eve, you can't change the moonlight "she said.
We both stared out of the window. It was already getting dark.
" why? Why moon goddess did this to me? I am not even gay"i whispered looking at the faint outline of the moon which will glow in its full glory tonight.
"today is the full moon "Grammy stated still looking out of the window
"your wolf will try to take over tonight ".
"what!! "i said sitting upright" what do you mean by that? Is it some kind of werewolf fiction of humans? "

" all stories are based on some little truth. We actually don't loose control on full moon. But when you deny you other half for a long time like now what you are doing they try to let loose and do as their will on full moon nights."she said.
"but i am not denying her"i stated.
"who are you kidding, you are fighting with her all the time otherwise you would have been with her mate by now"grammy said with a chuckel.
"she is my mate too"i muttered under my breath crossing my hands over my cheast.
"that's what she wants to hear"grammy said with a grin.

Did i actually just said that? WTF

"I didn't say anything "i said falling back on the nook and putting a pillow on my face.
Grammy sighed besides be and got up to leave.
" just remember Eve we are all children of the moon goddess, and a mother always does what is best for her child "she said finally before leaving the room.

I lay their for like two hours trying to avoid the jumbled thoughts in my head. I think i dozed off for some time cause i woke up by bright moonlight falling on my face.

i could feel a familiar sensation running through my body. I could feel my bones cracking and rearranging, my skin being covered by thick white fur. I was SHIFTING.
"what the hell"i screamed as i felt my mind sinking deep and my wolf surfacing. "what's happening?" i screamed again desperately fighting my wolf for control.
It was different than any other shiftings i had done before. I was not in complete control anymore, my wolf was trying to be the superior consciousness now, pushing me deep in my own mind where my wolf usually stays hidden.
I clutched my heart as i felt a sharp twig of it growing and changing it's rhythm.
"why? "i asked my wolf with teary eyes.
" i want my mate "my wolf replied with a growl.
" i can't do this wolf, you have to listen to me, i can't be with her"i pleaded.
"i have a name don't refer to me as some beast"she roared again.
"you have a name?" i asked astonished despite the pain screaming in every inch of my body.
"i am Lilith "she said.
" Lilith you have to listen, you can't do this"i begged again going on my knees as my legs couldn't hold me up anymore. I could fight with with large strong wolfs but fighting with my own inner being was weakening me.
"what do you think Eve, it's only me who want my mate?tell me in name of our mother the goddess that you don't need her too? "Lilith asked.
I was curldd up in a ball now. Holding on my last thread of control gathering all of my remaining strength. 'is it really only my wolf?" i asked myself. "is it my wolf who gets lost in those deep black eyes.?is it my wolf who wants to hide in those arms and stay there until the world comes to an end? Is it my wolf who gathers every sandle wood things in the castle to inhale that heavenly scent once again but could not find anything to come even close. "
" you can't lie to me Eve.i am you and you are me. But since you are too stubborn to listen to your heart. I am going to do that for you" Lilith said with a smirk as she pushed me away from my own mind and took over.
