Hot tears streaked down your face as the memories flooded your head. You couldn't believe it. Any of it. For starters, your husband of 3 years had decided to sleep with none other than his new assistant, which just happened to be your best friend. What's even worse, is that he knew she was your best friend. She fucking knew he was your husband. You couldn't help but feel betrayed and, honestly, somewhat idiotic. How did you not see what was going on? Were you actually that oblivious, that dense, to realize that he was having an affair?

Truth be told, you weren't.

But that didn't stop you from coming up with some sorry ass excuses as to why he was always home late. Why he never made time for you. Why he was always short with you. No, [name], you knew the whole fucking time, but you just wanted to keep it to yourself. You wanted to pretend it wasn't there. That every time he did come home late it was cause Erwin had assigned him a lot of extra paper work, and possibly, a promotion. But you knew better.

Levi Ackerman. The stoic, cold hearted, oddly handsome man that had been dubbed Vice President of the Survey Corporation was a two timing bastard. You didn't quite understand what he did exactly for his job, but you couldn't care less at this point. He cheated on you. That was it, and what pissed you off more about it was how he thought you didn't fucking know...

... . ... . ... . ... . ...

He quickly snatched up the remainder of his clothing before slipping on his shirt. His body glistened as the lamps faint glow danced upon him. He grabbed a nearby towel, wiping his face and neck down. It had been the 5th time that night. He was truly surprised she lasted as long as she did, but man did he love it. And that was just it. He loved the act of it all. Not her.

He looked back at the young girl that laid upon the bed. Strands of her ginger hair clung to her forehead as sweat laid on her abdomen. Her chest heaved up and down, and a happy smile made its way across her lips. She looked over at him, turning over to watch as he dressed. She was saddened that he was leaving again. She loved their nights together, no matter how short they were. She felt happy in his presence, a feeling only he brought her. She could almost say it was love.

But that's the last thing it was.

"Levi...why don't you stay?" her voice broke through the hot air. He didn't look at her.

"You know I cant, idiot." He looked in the mirror as he buttoned his shirt, "[name], is waiting for me."

She rolled her eyes at the mention of your name. Oh how she hated you. Petra used to be your best friend, that is until you met Levi. Petra could have sworn it was love at first sight. The moment she saw him, she fell. Her heart seemed to drop into her stomach at the sight of the two of you together. Happy. Alone. Without her. She figured when you and Levi became a couple that you'd leave her high and dry and forget that you two were even friends. I mean, that's what most people do anyway, right? Forget who their friends are And make their significant others their lives? Wasn't that a thing?

Or was that just her thing...

... . ... . ... . ... . ...

You had been crying for the past two hours about the whole ordeal. You tried to focus on the movie at hand, but it didn't stop your mind from wandering onto painful memories. Your friend, Hanji, had noticed that Petra and Levi had been spending a lot of Alone time together. At first you told her not to worry about it since Petra was your best friend and she was just his assistant. But you quickly ate your own words when you found the texts in Levi's phone. You never in your life had looked into another person phone. Let alone their messages. But you had to be sure. Hanji seemed to just be making a big fuss out of nothing, so what's the big deal?

Oh, it was one hell of a big deal.

You found out that they had been talking for almost a year now, and their advances to each other were well started after the day they met. His texts always full of vulgarity and perverse comments that made you want to vomit, and Petras supposed 'innocent' demeanor was completely lost in the text. She was a seducing whore. How could she? She was your best friend. Why would she do that to you?

"Because she wants him, [name]."

Hanjis voice echoed in your head.

"And she will take him."

You cried once more into your hands at the sheer betrayal laced within your life. You couldn't and wouldn't stand for it. The fact that they both thought you didn't fucking know, and even if they knew you did, they probably wouldn't fucking care. Because that's the kind of people they were. Selfish and cruel. The bitter thought made your grit your teeth as you glared at the screen. Your tears quickly subsided as your hurting core turned to a burning hate.

I won't stand for this. Not for any of it...

... . ... . ... . ... . ...

Levi was almost home when he noticed it was already 2 am. Damn. She's probably not awake now anyway. He figured you'd wait eagerly for his return. He always enjoyed seeing your sleepy face waiting for him. He had to admit that he thought you were beautiful. All the way from your soft [H/L] hair to your captivating figure. You were perfect. So why did he cheat on You?

He honestly didn't know.

Maybe it was cause you were so perfect He had no drama in his life. It was almost boring. Yes, you were drop dead gorgeous. Yes, you kept his house clean. Yes, you cooked like a gourmet Chef. Yes, you were selfless and devoted to him. Everything he had looked for in a wife you were it. And yet, he wasn't satisfied. So, he picked up a side-ho to keep things busy at work. But he knew Petra meant nothing to him. He didn't love her like he loved you. Cause he does love you. So much. He had thought about telling you the truth many times. Especially during his moments of insomnia. Your body laying in his bed sleeping peacefully as he thought of all the unforgivable things he's done to you.

And the more he thought about it, the more he hated himself.

He pulled up into the driveway to a dark home. He hadn't bought a huge house since, what was the point? Just so he could waste his good money on some pathetic mansion, fuck that. He bought the home that was big enough for a family of at least four, max six. He remembered how much you wanted to have kids, which made him sadden a bit at the thought.

He made his way to the front door. Guilt started to wash over him like a tidal wave as he thought more and more about you. The more he thought, the more he wanted you. And only you. He turned the key as he stepped into the entry way. The house appeared to be as clean as always by what he could see. Walking up the stairs he noticed the bedroom light was on. Its glow emitting through the cracked door. He pushed it open to find You sitting at the edge of the bed, head in hands, with a suitcase resting neatly beside your legs.

His eyes widened.

I won't let you leave, [name]. I can't.
