"Stupid Scar and her immaculate beauty." I shouted, as I punched the bag repeatedly. I have been in this gym for the past two weeks. Every moment I think of the green eyed beauty, I feel the urge to punch something. I haven't spoken to her neither. As said, Luther took me off the case. I was allowed to stay in the house, but I refused to stay close to Scar. My need and want for her, got- overbearing.
At certain times at night, she will gaze at the stars, and I'll admire her beauty. Those were the moments where you can see the real her. The Scar, that I grew fond of.
"I see that you will kill that bag soon!"
I turned around and faced Kelly. I smiled and she walked over to me. "You have to unleash your anger some how." I shrugged.
She smirked. "Let's fight!"
I raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Fight?!" I laughed at her contorted angry expression.
"Do you think I'm not capable of fighting you?" She hissed.
"Those words never left my lips!"
"Let me show you then!" Two nanoseconds later, I was straddled by the southern beauty.
"I see that you're very strong." I laughed, "but not strong enough." I flipped us over so that she was now pinned under me.
"Foul!" I whispered.
"Yeah, tapout!" She whispered back. Her lips hovered over mine and I was tempted to close the distance between us.
"I should get up." I sighed.
"Yeah, you should!" I raised my body from hers and walked out of the gym.
"Hey Syd!" I stopped my tracks and turned.
"How about coffee? You seem really stressed lately and I too haven't been myself; it can do us a lot of good." She smiled.
I cocked my head to the side and raised a brow. "Are you asking me on a date, Kelly?" I smirked.
She blushed and nod shyly. "I'll love too. Meet you at Starbucks at ten." I smiled slightly.
"Yeah- sure. Alright!"
I walked out of the precinct's gym and into my car. Maybe this date will allow me to forget about the green eyed beauty and her delicious lips. I sighed loudly, thinking about how her delicate tongue wraps itself around my own; like a slick snake, ready to devour his prey. Then again, I have to remind myself that, this is for the best. I was infatuated by the dark haired beauty and I couldn't deliver the appendix of my job. I am the best in all that I do, yet in less than a month, she turned me incapable of such.
The drive home was soothing, though my brain ran miles thinking about Scar. I parked my car and glanced across to Scar's house. Her car wasn't parked outside, so I'm guessing she's at the warehouse. I walked inside and walked straight upstairs and into the shower. I hurriedly got dressed and walked back downstairs. I dressed in a pair of light blue jeans and a white tank. My brown leather jacket was draped across my shoulders and my knee high brown boots hugged my feet. My hair was tied back into a ponytail. I grabbed my car keys and rushed out the door.
Someone's back was turned to me. "How may I help you?" I asked indifferently.
He spun around and smiled. "Hey, um we met before. Scar's brother."
"Right, how may I be of your acquaintance?"
"Yeah, so tomorrow I'm having a pool party and I was wondering if you would like to come. It wouldn't be big or anything, mostly friends and family." He smiled shyly.
