You and Mark were 5 years apart. When Mark found out he was going to have a little sister he got so excited! Every so often he would ask his mother questions like:
"Will we be the bestest of friends?"
"How will we get the baby? When will she come?"
"Is she gonna be pretty like you mommy?"
"Can we name her Buttercup?" And so on. The closer it came to the day your were going to be born, the more excited he got. He would run around singing about how he's going to have a little sister to take care of and protect. One time Tom even joined him. Mark was excited to have a baby sister and to not be the baby in the family anymore. It was fun, don't get him wrong, but sometimes it was too much. Old ladies squeezing your cheeks, aunts and uncles constantly baby talking you. It just wasn't all that fun anymore. It was time for a new baby in the family! The day you were born was... hectic. To say the least. It was two a.m. Everyone was sleeping soundly in their beds until Mark's mother was awoken to a sharp pain and a wet feeling. She shook her husband and woke him up.
"Hm? What?" He grumbled slightly.
"Sweetie. I think my water just broke."
"What?" He mumbled still tired.
"My water just broke!!" She said louder.
"Oh! Yes. I'll get the bag! Should I wake up Mark and Thomas?"
"That sounds like a good idea" she said trying to get out of bed as her husband went to get the baby bag and wake up their two children."Mark! Tom! Wake up boys. We need to get clothes and go to get the baby!" When Mark heard the baby was on his way he jumped up and got some clothes, a blanket, and a teddy and put them all in a bag. Mark was so excited he got Tom's things for him. "TOM WAKE UP. WE GON'A GETA BABY SISSY!" Tom woke up to Mark yelling. "C'mon boys. Let's go to the car with mommy. Don't forget your things!" Their father said walking down stairs and to the car. Mark grabbed the bag and walked out with Tom.
"Hey Tommy. Could you take the bag? It's a lil big."
"Sure Marki!" Tom took the bag and carried it to the car with Mark. Tom hooked himself in but Mark needed some help so Tom helped him buckle his seatbelt.
"Fanks." Mark said.
They drove to drop off Mark and Tom at a close friends house for the time being then went to the hospital. 6-7 hours later their father called to say they could come to the hospital to see the baby. When they found the room and came in, looking very tired might I add, they saw their mom smiling at a little pink bundle and their father standing also smiling at the little pink bundle.
"Hey boys. I want you to meet someone. Come here" their father said lightly. The boys walk over quietly trying to see. Their father pulls over a chair for Tom to stand on so he can see the baby and picks up Mark so he can see as well. It's still hard to see the baby and Mark says "what is it?!"
"It's your little sister Mark," his mother chuckles.
"Oh. She's kinda cute"
"I think she kinda looks like a raisin." Tom said.
"Tom! That's not very nice!" Their father says.
"She's a cute raisin though" he corrects himself. Their mom chuckles slightly.
"What do we want to name her?" She asks quietly not to wake the baby.
"Buttercup!!" Mark says happily.
"We'll think about that. It's a good name though" their father says.
"How about Y/N?" Tom suggests.
"That sounds nice! Y/N. Y/N Fischbach" their mom smiles happily.
"Can we at least get her a teddy bear and name it Buttercup?" Mark slightly pouts.
"Sure Mark" their father chuckles at how much Mark liked the name Buttercup. They did end up getting a stuffed animal named Buttercup. It ended up being your favorite stuffed animal.
