He walked in, dressed in slate gray pants, a silver button up that had enough buttons open to see a smooth, tan chest, and a blazer the color of his pants. It accented his dark features and made his cheekbones look prominent. He handed his blazer to Lou and patted him on the back ad shook his hand. I watched every move he made, and when he turned around and looked me straight in the eye, my breath caught and I felt my cheeks flush a deep crimson. He cocked an eyebrow, and was starting to smile when a friend of his grabbed him on the shoulder and jerked him towards their table.

I silently cursed under my breath and looked up through my lashes to see Brendan peering at me a couple times as he said, "So what do you want?"

"Uhhh.. The calzone sounds great," I muttered as I drummed on my knees with my fingers. I pushed my hair behind my ear and leaned forward, my chin enveloped in my hands. "What would you like, Brendan..?"

As I reached forward and grabbed the front of his shirt with a flirty smile, he blushed and pulled his eyebrows together. "I wouldn't mind a bit of you," he murmured as he winked.

"Not till the second date sweet cheeks."

"That's too bad..... I guess I'll go with the same as you."

Lou walked up to our table with pen and pad in hand, and said in his deep voice, "What may I get the two lovebirds?"

"We'll both have the pepperoni and sausage calzone, uncle."

Lou smiled and winked at me, "the boys such a copycat. No original ideas."

Brendan glared at Lou with a smirk on his face. Lou just chuckled and slipped the notebook in his shirt pocket.

After we finished eating, I took one last sip of my drink and smiled.

"Shall we get going?"

Brendan picked up his to go box and nodded. He helped me out of the booth, and crooked his arm in mine. We got outside and said our goodbyes.

"So I'll see you again..?" Brendan said, rubbing his foot in circles on the ground with his hands in his pockets. He looked so tense that I crooked his chin up and kissed him. He took one hand out of his pocket and cupped my cheek. His lips were soft and moist, and tasted like Dr. Pepper. I bit his bottom lip softly before pulling out of the kiss.

"Of course."

He put his hands back in his pockets and backed up slowly saying,"Great. It's a date then. And oooh lucky me the second one!" He smirked and winked.

I chuckled and walked the opposite way and muttered,"Bye Brendan."

I walked towards my rental car, but stopped suddenly. Something didnt feel right. As I glanced to my right, I saw 6 large shadows following slowly behind me, planning to do god knows what.
