Grant's POV:
I run up to the room she's in but then I feel hands on me.
"Sir you can't go on there. Family only." I look over and see two doctors holding me back.
"No please I have to see her."
"I'm sorry sir but you can't"
"NO I LOVE HER I HAVE TO SEE HER" they start pulling me back.
"NO DEVYN. PLEASE I HAVE TO SEE HER. DEVYN!!"
Hours pass. Her family comes in and out. Her parents haven't came yet. Finally they show up. I try to follow them inside but the doctors hold me back. "Sir sit back down."
"No it's okay he can come in, we know him." Says her mom.
"Ma'am only family is allowed he can-"
"Let him come in!" She interrupts the doctor. She's pretty cool. She grabs my arm and pulls me in. Her parents talk to her for awhile and finally they leave, making me alone with Devyn. I sit next to her, holding her hand.
"Hey Dev. It's Grant. If you're still in there, I want you to fight. But if you wanna go I'm telling you it's okay." Tears fill my eyes. I start sniffling. "We've known each other forever and even when we leave each others houses we don't say goodbye because we think it sounds like we're leaving each other forever. But now....now I think it's time to say goodbye." Tears fall from my face. "I..I haven't told you yet, I was gonna wait till your birthday but I wrote you a song." I grab my guitar I grabbed out of my car earlier and start singing 'Autumn Leaves' (I'll put the song up there ^) tears rush down my face as I sing. After awhile I finish and cover my face with my hands, crying.
"Devyn, I lov-" all of the sudden, I hear 'Beeeeeeep' and all of the doctors come rushing in, pushing me out the door.
