Grant's POV:
It wasn't till 1:30 a.m. till I found out Devyn was in the hospital. I got in my car as quickly as I could (sadly with Sierra) and drove to the hospital. I run in and up to her room, pushing Hunter out of the way.

"Devyn?" I whisper and she just groans in response. I look at Hunter and run up to him.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" I yell at him.

"I didn't do anything!" he slightly yells back. I could tell he was scared. But I didn't care.

"I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!" I hit him. Nobody and I mean NOBODY hurts my Devyn. He falls into a chair. He's lucky.

"Now I'm gonna ask you one more time. WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

"Her best friend, Raya, kissed me and Devyn saw! Then she accidentally stabbed herself!" he yells. Still not that loud. I feel anger fill inside of he and punch him.

"HEY! STOP!" I hear a voice. I look behind me and look at Devyn sitting up, looking scared.

"Devyn..." I speak softly.

"Don't hurt him." She speaks softly, holding her stomach. "You did the same thing. You kissed Sierra in front of me so many times too. It hurt me so much. And you didn't even care! You just walked out on me. So you should be the one getting beat up not Hunter." I had no words to say after that. I just stood there. Frozen. Not knowing what to do. She was right.

"Just leave." She says. I do as she says. I walk right out the door, walking back to Sierra.

~a couple hours later ~

Devyn's POV:
They released me from the hospital and gave me pain medication to take two times a day. We drive home. Once we get home I set Hunter on the bed and grab a wet towel, wiping the blood from his lip and nose.

"I'm so sorry, Hunter." I sigh.

"It's inst, princess. It's not your fault." He attempts to smile. I set my hand on his cheek, softly rubbing my thumb over the bruise on his cheek.

"You still look handsome." I giggle.

"So do you. But then again, you never look bad. You always look like a princess." I blush.

"A salty princess." I giggle.

"My salty princess." then, before I know it, his lips brush against mine, and everything feels just like it's supposed to.
