It was about six in the morning when Sam woke up to a children's crying coming from Dean's room. He stood up and walked into his room confused. Sitting on Dean's bed, was a kid that he suspected was Dean but was...a kid.. "Dean?"
"Sammy!" Dean held up his arms for Sam and whimpered. To Sam, he looked just like he did in the picture Dean had of him and their mother.
"It's okay Dean." Sam sighed and picked him up. He carried him towards the kitchen and saw a short, dark haired kid in front of the fridge. "Um hello?"
The kid turned around an smiled at him. "Good morning Sam. I didn't expect you up this early. Have you any idea why I and apparently Dean seem to have reverted to our young selves?"
Sam had to take in the fact Castiel was talking to him like that for a minute. "Um well I'm not sure what happened but Dean doesn't seem to have the mind set you do."
Dean was hiding his face in Sam's neck but kept peaking out at Cas as if he'd never seen him before. Sam smiled at him. "Say hi Dean."
Dean grinned a little and waved cutely. Cas smiled back and waved. "Hello Dean. My name is Castiel." He stepped closer and Sam set Dean down and started to make breakfast.
"Hi Castel." Dean grinned toothily. Then he looked at Cas again and shook his head. "Ar you Cas?"
"Yes Dean." Cas smiled at him and ruffled his hair. Deans cheeks turned slightly red and he giggled.
"Breakfast." Sam announced. He'd gotten them both Nutella waffles and he was smiling at them.
Castiel nodded and climbed up into his chair. Sam picked up Dean and put him in another chair but it was a little to short. "Can't see!" Dean yelled.
Sam sighed and got some of his books from the other room. "I'll have to get you a high chair until we can change you back." He said as he boosted Dean up.
"Hi Cas!" Dean waved when he could finally see over the edge of the table. Then he noticed the waffles. "Yummy!" He said excitedly as he ate as if he hadn't eaten in weeks.
Sam smiled and shook his head. "Hey Cas, how do you feel about going to the park after this?"
"The park? You mean to play on?" Cas asked looking at him confused. The only reason besides that he could think of was a clue for a case or something to that effect.
"Yea. Since Dean doesn't have his um.. Grown mind set, we can't do much else. Plus I think you'll enjoy it." Sam said eating his salad he's made for himself.
Castiel pondered this as he ate. "Alright Sam. I've never been in a vessel this young anyway. It should be a new experience."
"Mor?!" Dean said loudly, his face and hands sticky with syrup and Nutella.
"Oh no..." Sam groaned and got up to he him more food, dreading clean up.
