Father's REGRET

Trevor's POV
I'm Trevor melmick I am a school trickster in Leonard high. But I am something even more than your averege trickster
I am a hunter working for a secret organization called LEGION. It all started when I was still 15. My dad took me in a hunting trip in Leonard forest." You ready for this." My dad said smiling at me."yes!" I said with an exited attitude I wasnt really the bonding type of guy so I tried to hide it from my father to avoid hurting his feelings. We found this perfect spot in the woods to go hunting." Yep this is the place." He said looking around." Okay I mean this is my first time so.."  Then we heared a stick breaking fight behind us." What was that?!" I said while examining my surondings.
My father looked at me as if he was observing me." I dont know." He said while getting a stick."what are you gonna use that for?" I said to him. He looked at me and said " for protection." Oh okay." I said to him. He crouched and slowly went to the bushes to see what was there. He steached his hands and opened the bushes with the stick and saw 2 raccoons running." Whoa!" He said." Darn raccoons!!!" He said to the raccoons while they were running. Then we laughed together after that." Lets go start a fire." He said while laughing. At that night we sat down and talked." Are you exited for school?" Said my father while burning his marshmallow." Uh, dad your burning your marshmallow there." I said to him. He looked at his marshmallow and panicked." Whoa!" Je noticed then he quickly got it out of the fire. He blew and blew but it was still burning. I laughed at him then he laughed back. We had a great time that night." Its late you should sleep." He said to me." Okay dad." I sad then right after I closed my eyes and slept.
John Melmick's POV
while my son slept I heared a whisteling sound coming from the west I knew that I had to go there. When I went to the location I saw the hunters." Hello,John" said one of the hunters." Your late! He has been waiting inside for too long!" Talia said."well tell him I'm sorry." I immedietly said to Talia. I went in the tent and saw the leader and founder of LEGION." Hello john." He said to me." Hello Van." I greeted him with a strong voice."you seem mad." He said to me with a friendly voice." Well Im practically forcing my son to do this kind of lifestyle." I said to him. I was mad at him because he wants me to let my son join us but it is too dangerous." You know why we are doing this John." He said to me while looking at me."what happened." He asked me." Well I did what you told me to do,I acted as if I was so scared when I saw those 2 raccoons." I said." Did he show any kind of reaction?" He asked me." No, he just laughed." I said to him." He is a strong one, he was born to hunt." He said to me with a Sinister voice." Yeah but these are raccoons not vampires,not ghosts, or werewolves!" I said to him and he did not reply back." We will see if he is truly ready. We will send out the wolves." He said. And here I am thinking that he has mercy and consience but he doesent."no! I wont let you!" I got the knife then went for his throut but he suspected that. He countered my attack by grabbing my arm and uppercut my stomach. Ot hurt but there was no stopping me. I came at him and I swang the knife again and again. But he went under the knife and punched my face. Other hunters went inside and grabbed me. I struggled to get out but I wasnt strong enough."let go of me! You cant do this Van he is just a boy!" I said while struggling to get out. Then I heared the last thing I expected from him after all that."I'm sorry." And just like that he went out without even turning back..............
Trevor's POV
The next day I woke up I was looking for my father." Where the heck is he?" I said while looking for him. Then I heared growling behind me. I turned around and saw biggest fear..... A wolf. It was staring at me with its cold-blooded eyes ready to kill. I grabbed a thick stick. It readied its hind legs then pounced. I swang the stick hitting the wolf. After that I ran like hell. The thing was so fast that I could not see him. He jumped and it flanked from the right but I quikly slammed the stick. I kept on running but it was not enough I knew I had to yhink of something before it was too late. Then I had a thought." What if we lure it into the traps." I said in my head while I was running. It pounced again in the left but I turned around and slammed the stick at its face again then I went to the traps that we set up yesterday. I kept on running then I saw the first trap we called it goin up but you aint comin down. This trap uses the rope it hoists up the animal i figured it only worked for fast animals. I jumped through it and the wolf triggered the trap. But it was too fast it did not het it. I kept on running and saw the second trap." There it is!" I said while looking at the second trap I was sure it was going too kill it. We call this trap shoot-out this trap activates with a pressure plate if you step on it arrows shoot you but my dad was the big animal kill type of guy so instead the arrows we used wooden spears. This trap was supose to kill hogs but with these spears it will take down a massive bear. I stepped on the pressure plate to activate it. The dispensers shot big spears at us. I saw a spear comming at me but I doged it I thought it was begginers luck right there. Another spear went for my head but I was not suspecting it. Insted I looked back to see if the wolf was dead but saw that it was still alive no matter how many spears attack it. Then I saw the spear and it went for my head. I  quickly ducked backwards. The last round of speares was ahead of us. Suddenly the wolf pounced and treid too attack me but a spear saved me. It hitted the left side of the wolf and did not even damaged it but when I looked closily I saw blood near its heart I figured that a spear through its heart will end it. So when the spear launched I grabbed it and ran through the last rounds of spears."yes!" I said while runnig for my life. I saw the next trap and said"this is my golden oppotunity!" I said while going to the trap. We call this trap snapping death this trap activates if the pressure plate is stepped on after it activates its gonna snap your leg. I juped though the trap and the wolf stepped on it. It wounded its leg but it still kept on going. I expected that to happen so I went to the open fields where the wolf followed me. I jumped and turned 180 degrees while the wolf pounced. I was filled with rage and I did not have any second thoughts I killed it immedietly.
After that I was breathing heavily and then I heared a voice behind me."Trevor?" I turned around and saw my father. When I saw him I hugged him."dad!" I squeezed him because I was so glad to see him." I knew it I knew that it woudnt hurt you!" My dad said while he was having tears of joy. And in that moment I felt hatred." You knew?!" I said whle letting go of him." They werent supose to do it." Said my father then he told me the reason why we went hunting and about LEGION. Trev he..." He wasnt able to finish his sentence because i cutted it" you knew all along and you just watched...... From now on you are dead to me." That was all I said to him ever since. Now my father thinks that I am now saved. But I am not I revolted agains him, the only thing that he was protecting me from came true. I joined LEGION and I heared of this one guy named Zev who terrorizes cities I had to go after him to stop him.which led me too leonard ville..............
