"Oh, come on. You have to go. This is a once in a life time opportunity!" Jennifer, my free spirited sister, pleaded me with a hopeful look in her eyes. She has been trying to convince me for the past three days.

Although she was only 17 she had a lot of mischief up her sleeve.
Her adventuristic spirit has led her, and myself being her partner in crime, into many troubles. And of course, I was always the one to get us out of them.

"Jen, I told you already. I have to work this summer and get ready for uni-.." I tried to talk her out of her new idea, but I had known the outcome. She was a go-getter. And once she has set her mind into doing something, nothing could stop her.

"Rosie, I want to spend some time with you before you go back to college. And what a better way to do so than a camping trip. You know I'm gonna miss my big sis'." She gave me an-anaconda-like-tight-hug.

"Ugh.. Okay, okay.." I gave in, mostly because I was running out of oxygen, "but you must promise me we are not getting into any more trouble!"

"Okay, no mischiefs. Oh, it's gonna be fantastic! I have to call Gemma!" She excitedly squished my cheeks and kissed them. Gemma was our family friend, she was like our third sister. We have always been very close.

"Gemma says she wants to go too. And that her brother is back in town! He's going also." Jen yelled out of the kitchen once she finished her conversation. Harry is back. Great. He was the last person I'd invite to go with us.

Jen continued calling her friends and notifiying them on our upcoming trip, soon enough there was 6 of us. There were myself, Jen, Gemma, Harry, and Zach and Tina who were a couple.

Since Jenny wasn't keen on organizing things, I knew it was up to me to take care of everything.

A few days later, I had planned our whole trip, I have told mother about it and she gave me an hour long speech on how we should behave. Mothers, ever so worried. All that was left for me was to notify Christian, my boyfriend, that I will take a break from work.

I got to the music shop, where I was working, and found him with his headphones on, browsing through some old records. I came up from behind him, and tapped his shoulder. He turned aroud, taking down his headset. The smile on this face grew when he saw me, and he pulled me closer to him in a hug. I laid my head on his chest and senced his familiar smell. The cologne I had bought him for his birthday.

"Chris.."I mumbled into his shirt.
"Rosie?" he questioned, putting his hand under my chin and lifting my head, so he could look into my eyes.
"I suppose you've heard of our little trip that my Jenny has made me go to. We are leaving tomorrow , just so you know I wont be coming to work for a week." I looked into his deep brown eyes.
"Yeah, I know. I'm not happy though. You going there without me.. Will there be any guys?" he asked, visibly concerned.
"Yes, there will be guys. But you know you're the only guy I'm interested in. Besides, it's better us girls have some men to look after us." I smiled, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Yeah, yeah.." he wasn't really happy. I have tightend my hug.
"Don't worry, I'll be safe. Okay? I've gotta go, last minute check ups." I turned around, but Chris grabbed my wrist and spinned me around, just to collapse his lips on mine. I smiled halfway through the kiss.
"I have to go, Chris.." I wiggled out of his grip and waved him goodbye.

Back at our house, Jenny was packing her clothes and fell asleep while doing so. She was lying on a pile of clothes on her bed. The thought of how it will wrinkle her wardrobe made me cringe. But I left her like that, since she looked so peaceful, I didn't wanna bother her slumber.

While she was sleeping, I took care of my stuff. I placed it all neatly in to my big backpack, I've put in some extra shoes, prepared food for the trip and a few other necessities.

In the meantime, Jen has awoken and did the same herself.

After a while everything was ready for tomorrow, and I went to sleep in order to get enough rest. We were up for a long trip.
