I had pulled up in front of the house. I put my car in park and shut the engine. The house was really big. It was white with a decent size front stop with a roof over it. It had a darkish blue-black tiling to the roof. And then there was a huge SOLD sign in the front. If it wasn't for the few boxes in the neighbor's yard, I wouldn't have been able to tell that they must be new to the neighborhood either. I grabbed my keys out of the engine and got out of the air conditioned car and into the hot sticky atmosphere. I stood there holding onto the door while analyzing every detail I could. I took a deep breath and closed my door.

It's a new start.

I rounded the car and found my way into my house with my bag. I took a small tour around the house to find my room. My mom and Ryan came a few weeks ago to check out the house but I was forced to go to school that day. I found my way up the stairs and took a left. I went all the way down and chose the one on the left side. I threw open the door and sure enough it was mine. It had my dresser and bed already. I walked into the center of the room and spun around taking in every detail. The walls were a light baby blue, not the best but ok. Better than beige I guess. I sighed. This room was so boring.

I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. I looked over to the movement and saw another room. My room had a window that looked straight into our neighbors. That room obviously belonged to a male. I could see half of a bed with the foot of it facing me. It had a dark goldish tan color. There was a short yet long dresser stuck underneath a window that looked out the front of the house. The room was almost like mine but had different belongings of course. I sighed again and then walked out the room. I ran down the stairs and yelled I was going to the store to pick up some paint and things and that I'd be back soon.

"Pick up some dinner if you can!" I heard mom yell. I yelled back a 'sure' before slamming the door behind me and grabbing my keys out of my bag. I pressed the unlock button and my car flashed it's light and honked in response. I opened my door and started the car. Just then I noticed a big black truck pulling out of the neighbors. I rolled my eyes as it went out slow but made sure to block me. I huffed. It stopped and I could see that there was a male in the driver's seat. Of course. I honked after a couple seconds of him just sitting there. He still didn't move. I huffed again before putting my vehicle in reverse and pulling away enough so I could turn and move through the open space between the truck and the end of the street.

If it wasn't for him being a foot in front of me, I would've turned and got out, but if I even tried, I would've hit him. God men can be so annoying. Now if I only I knew where I was going.

Hey guys what you think so far? Do you like it? Let me know! Who do you think she ran into. Also very important do you guys like the new change? I know this is short so I'll post the next chapter in a minute. Ok brb.
