Rimuru laid quietly in bed, his body heating immensely, as a tint of red spread across his cheeks all the way to the tips of his ears. He reeked of a pungent alcohol, the strong stingy scent replaced the earlier fragrance of pleasant roses. His eyes were shut deep as he snored soundfully with a delightful mood, muttering jumbled words in his knocked out state with a faint smile on his face. Guy sat on the bedside, panting with widened eyes, covering his watering mouth with the only functional hand he has. Glancing at the window blankly, his own face as red as his hair, but not because he's wasted like the slime, but because of a sensual and chaotic interaction between the two before said hour.

Let's get back to the start, shall we? Rewind to when and where this all started.

After the main events of the Founder’s Festival; The Closing Party.

The pink haired Demon Lord wandered around the Hotel after the 5-hour long show of the dungeon. She spent the rest of the little hours she had left by appreciating the artistry in the building’s interior design and meticulous detail towards every corner, naming the names she remembered of the designs and patterns used by the interior architects with beaming enthusiasm. As she walked around the long hallways lit by the mini chandeliers of white walls, Milim carried a plate of strawberry cheesecake on hand. Glancing at each room number she passed by, trying to find a certain room number.
“8-56…8-56…8-56…8-56…” She repeatedly mumbled, stepping faster on each beat. Immediately stopping when her eyes caught notice of room number 8-56.

She stood by the door, breathing in and exhaling deeply, as if preparing herself for the worst that's to come. She held the plate in her hands from two to one, clenching her fists, aiming them at the door, and knocked lightly.

“Hey, Guy, I sneaked some strawberry cheesecake from the cafeteria. I figured you might want some?” She spoke behind the door, loud enough for the currently sullen demon to hear but ignore all the same.

She was responded with silence, making her look like an idiot outside the Primordial’s hotel room. Milim huffed, the ignorant retort hurting her pride, her brows curled in a gradually building fume. Then seconds later, the door knob clicked, the sound loud in the barely hushed hallway.

Milim opened the unlocked door as it creaked, stepping in the blood-red decorated room. She noticed the lights were off, and only lit by the moon’s dim light through the windows, contrasting its blue hue is the room replaced with various crimson colored furniture. Silky vivid red bedcurtains and bedsheets, red table cloths, red cushions on the chairs and couch, red carpet patterned with thick gold lining of tapestry, a golden chandelier that's so golden it's close to red-orange. Milim sarcastically laughed at the thought that if he liked red so much he should just make the entire room red in color at that point.

Though Guy's choice of interior color wasn't her problem anyways, she came there for another reason. The demon sat on the bedside, his eyes as dull as earlier, his atmosphere having not changed for an inch since she last saw him earlier that afternoon. Milim quietly sat beside Guy, the delicious cake still in hand as she tried handing it over to him.
   “Do you want?”

“I want Ri-… nevermind, just give me that.” Guy snatched the cheesecake from Milim’s hand. Slowly digging the fork into the soft baked bread and lifted the small bite piece into his mouth, the sweet taste easily melting the flavors in his mouth with delightful colors scattered his tongue. Guy couldn't help but smile, the faint erect of his cheek muscle making Milim relax a little internally.

“What did you come here for?” Guy asked.
“The hell do you think?” Milim snapped back, with a teasing yet scowled grin, facing the moon through the window in front of them.
   “The fireworks, huh?”
“You'll be missing out, I'm telling ya’.”
“It's just gunpowder mixed with other chemicals to make different colors blasted into the air.”
