Please love me always’? Is this idiot… FUCKING SERIOUS??!!!” He cursed loudly to the world.

His suppressed aura emancipated as an imperceptible blue crawled through the corridors.

In Rimuru’s Office

Rimuru took the letter to his office, his unmoved expression all the more terrifying than seeing him burst out of anger. He did not do anything else but stare at it continuously, suppressing the earlier mana he accidentally unleashed like a manifesting state of fire waiting for the right moment to bring ashes.

He tapped his boot repeatedly on the floor where his toes could reach, completely turning a blind eye to the absolute stack of documents he has yet to review and examine before signing, sitting atop his desk like a damsel in distress.

Usually, the documents given to him were already sorted by Diablo as he was the most suitable for the job, before him was Shion who believed every document was important and delivered more than at least hundred books to review before Rimuru got dizzy at the work he was meant to complete by the end of the day and divided the documents into certain sections based on who sent it, the significance of its contents, and who would be assigned to handle the trivial ones instead. With the most substantial pieces brought to him.
With that handled, Rimuru only had ten books to review rather than a hundred thanks to this method. Additionally, the need for his favor was most required as the core importance was his job. Though that's unimportant. The slime Lord is about to release his temper at the slightest inconvenience, yet the self-control he places upon himself is outstanding as he is still able to manage his emotions to be put at rest.

Yet for some reason, he could only reread the letter again and again at his disbelief.

Would Guy really leave for two whole months? Is that even necessary? Well, to be frankly honest he shouldn't even give a single damn whether Guy visits or not, and now he is. Giving more than a damn.

After reading it once, he screamed, suppressed what he unleashed and locked himself in his office. Not his house, his office.

Because of the commotion he caused for only a split second before desperately attempting to meditate on calmness and clear skies. As the matter was reported by Gastelle, who was nearby the scene, immediately and directly to Shuna, who was known across Tempest as the “Motherly Advisor” or so she was nicknamed. Therefore, she would be the utmost best to approach when regarding these kinds of meager and trivial situations.

Besides, who else would be befitting to settle the Lord’s stressful being?

“My Lord?” A voice came from behind the door, snapping Rimuru out of his thoughts.

“Shuna? Weren't you at the– Nevermind, come in.” He dismissed his questions and permitted the enter, hiding the letter swiftly at the very bottom of the drawer with professional skill.

“My Lord, would you like a cup of tea?” She offered graciously, already having a nicely brewed tea of balmy aroma scattered in the atmosphere. Even successfully fascinating Rimuru’s nose, leading him to accept it whether or not he wanted the tea in the first place.

“Sure, why not.” As the teacup and two cubes of sugar sat beside it, he picked the teaspoon and stirred the sugar into the tea.

He knew that Shuna wouldn't come all this way from where she was assigned at the moment towards here just to serve him tea, that would be an honor given to the unoccupied staff. Rimuru obviously perceived that it was more than the outlook of it, and asked as such.
