The bus ride was torture. So was school. But let's start from the beginning of school. Star walked off of the bus, with Marco right behind her. Before she knew it, Marco had blown past her to get to his locker. Star watched sadly as Jackie Lynn Thomas skated by. "Hey Jackie!" Marco said. "Hey Marco!" She said as she zoomed by. Marco smiled. "Thanks for getting me to talk to Jackie. It's really paying off!" "Heh, yeah..." Star said quietly. Marco looked at her, concerned. "What's wrong Star?" She looked at her shoes. "Oh, nothing." She laughed a bit. "Just tired. I got no sleep last night." Technically that wasn't a lie. She didn't get any sleep last night. Star heard a keytar playing. She turned around, and saw Oskar walking down the halls, playing his music. She faked swooning over him. "Marco, isn't he perfect?" Marco scrunched up his face. "He kinda smells." He looked at Star, but didn't see her actual face. Her face? She was crying. She loved Marco, but Oskar was cute. So she was bawling while smiling. It was a confusing day. But it had got even more awful. Star wanted to walk home, to clear her mind. Marco tried to convince her to ride the bus home with him, but she refused. She needed to stay away from Marco and Oskar for now. When she was about halfway to the Diaz house, a hole in front of her opened. Star jumped back, and pulled out her wand. She wasn't sure if it was Ludo or some other villain, but she was gonna be ready. To her surprise, Tom walked out. "Star! Long time no see!" Star rolled her eyes. "Seriously Tom? We saw eachother last night!" She crossed her arms. "Oh. Well, I came here to apologize." He wrapped his pointer and thumb around her chin, and gently pulled it to face him. "Apologize for what?" Star asked. "For me losing control, and for that other guy dancing with you." She stared Tom in his eyes. "What?" Tom laughed. "He shouldn't have gotten in the way. I wanted to dance with you." Star blushed. "That other guy was really cute..." She looked at Tom, who still had her chin. "What? No! What's gotten into you Star?" Star yanked her chin away. "Tom, I'm sorry, but I don't love you like I used to." Tom looked angry. "What? You're supposed to LOVE ME!" "But I don't! I love someone else!" Star yelled at him, then covered her mouth. "Who? WHO DO YOU LOVE!" She glared at Tom. "The guy who I danced with last night." He looked at Star with a surprised look on his face. It soon turned into anger, and his eyes turned white. "Come with ME." Tom snatched her arm, making her suddenly drop her wand. "Tom! Let go!" Star screamed at him, tears streaming down her cheeks. "You will be my one and only! Now COME!" Star tried to reach for her wand, but Tom yanked her arm towards him. She soon found herself in an embrace by him. She struggled. "Let me go! Please! I need to get to Marco!" Star pleaded with him. Tom didn't listen. "If you won't come, I'll FORCE you to come!" Tom snapped his fingers, and Star fell silent. Her eyes turned white, and her hands, feet, and neck were bound by shackles. "Come Star Butterfly. We have all eternity to be together." He snapped his fingers again, and a chain was connecting all her shackles to each other. Then a chain came from her hand shackles and outstretched to Tom. He grabbed it, and started to walk through the portal. Star blindly followed, under his control. As the portal closed, the red light from Tom's dimension dimmed, leaving Star's wand on the sidewalk, waiting to be claimed again.
