JiYong Oppa

*Woori's POV

My Appa went out into the hallway. As soon as he shuts the door behind him, I run to the door to listen to the conversaion.

"Ji Yong, what are you doing here?" Appa asks.

Ji Yong? Ji Yong Oppa is here? Why?

"Uncle, I came because I heard that you are marrying off Woori. I came to check on her and as well as Woohyuk," another voice says.

My Ji Yong Oppa is here! He only came because he heard was getting married? That's the only reason?

I open the door that seperates me from my appa and Ji Yong Oppa. Both men turn their heads to look at me. Ji Yong Oppa smiles as he looks at me.

"Woori-ah! How is my favorite cousin?" Ji Yong Oppa asks.

Yes, Ji Yong is my cousin. I haven't seen him in years. He left to go study abroad. I heard from Woohyuk Oppa that he was back but I'm guessing that he has been too busy to come visit.

I smile back to him.

"Still not talking? When are you going to talk again, Woori-ah?" Ji Yong Oppa asks.

I glare at him then shrug my shoulders.

"Aish! This kid. Where's your brother?" Ji Yong says.

I point upstairs knowing that WooHyuk would be in his room.

"Arraso. Can you go get him for me? I want to make sure that both of my little cousins are okay?" Ji Yong asks.

I smile and nod. Then I run upstairs to WooHyuk's WooHyuk is sitting on his bed staring at the book in front of him. As I run into the room, Oppa looks up at me.

"Woori-ah? What's wrong?" Oppa asks.

Ji Yong Oppa is here. He's down stairs and he wants to see you. I sign to him.

"Jinjja? Ji Yong hyung is here?" he asks.

I nod my head. You see Ji Yong Oppa is two years older than Woohyuk Oppa. So when I stopped talking, he was eight and was still too young to understand why his baby cousin wouldn't talk. Everyday he would ask me to talk.

*Flashback*

~13 years ago~

It was the day after Appa had told us we were getting a new mommy. Appa was happy. Woohyuk wasn't though. Oppa got mad and started throwing things. I was in shock. I never knew what it was like to have a mommy. Oppa had one for two years before I came and our mommy died. Oppa tries to tell me what our mommy was like, but I just can't picture her. I feel bad because Oppa tries really hard to tell me about our mommy but I just end up crying because I can't remember. I woke up to Oppa running into my room yelling.

"Woori-ah, wake up. Ji Yong hyung is here. He's staying for a while," he yells as he shakes me awake.

I sit up in my bed and look up at him. I start to tell him that I'm happy that Ji Yong Oppa is here but nothing comes out. My eyes widen in shock. Oppa looks at me confused. I look at him and start crying. I couldn't talk. Oppa crawls on to my bed and sits beside me hugging me as I cried. Ji Yong soon runs into my room smiling but as soon as he sees me crying and WooHyuk hugging me. His smile turns into a frown.

"What's wrong?" he asks.

"Hyung, Woori-ah can't talk anymore. Somethings wrong with her," WooHyuk Oppa explains.

"Bwoh? What do you mean?" Ji Yong asks.

"Hyung, go get my appa, arraso?" Woohyuk says.

Ji Yong nods then runs out of my room. A few minutes later my Appa followed by Ji Yong Oppa comes running into my room. Appa sits on my bed.

"What's wrong?" Appa asks.

"Appa, when I woke Woori-ah she tried to speak but she couldn't. Something is wrong with my sister, Appa. What's wrong with my sister?" Woohyuk asks worried.

"I don't know Woohyuk. But I will find out. Woori-ah go get dressed. Appa is going to take you to the hospital," Appa says.

~3 hours later~

Appa and I return from the hospital. The doctor said that I went mute for some reason. And that only time would tell if and when I would talk again. As soon as we walked into the house, both Oppa's ran up to me and hugged me.

"Woori-ah can you speak now?" Woohyuk Oppa asks.

I shake my head.

"Woori-ah, are you going to be okay?" Ji Yong Oppa asks.

"Woori-ah is going to be fine. She just needs to rest," Appa tells them.

Both Oppas made me rest in my room and they would play dolls with me while I sat in my bed. Every so often Ji Yong Oppa would ask if I could talk yet. I would try then shake my head in sadness. We tried to get me to talk every day while Ji Yong was there. Every night I would end up silently crying myself to sleep because I wasn't able to talk to my oppas.

*End of Flashback*

"Woori-ah, kaja. Hyung is waiting for us downstairs," Woohyuk says standing beside me.

When did he get there?

I nod my head. Woohyuk Oppa grabs my hand and we walk downstairs together. Ji Yong Oppa, Appa, and Myungsoo was standing in the hallway as we make our way down the stairs.

Oh no, Ji Yong Oppa has met Myungsoo. I wonder what he thinks of the whole wedding idea.

The three men stop talking as we reach the bottom step. Ji Yong looks up at us as we stand in front of him.

"Just like old times. You two are still close as ever," Ji Yong says smiling.

"Nae, hyung. Someone has to translate for Woori so over the years we have gotten closer," Woohyuk explains.

"That is good. And I'm sorry that I left for as long as I did. I didn't mean to leave you two alone," Ji Yong says looking at the ground.

I release WooHyuk Oppa's hand and walk up to Ji Yong Oppa. He looks at me with sadness in his eyes. I turn to Woohyuk Oppa and sign to him.

"Hyung, Woori says that it is fine. That you made the right choice in going to studying abroad. Because with you futhering your education, you can become who you really want to be," Woohyuk translates.

I look at Ji Yong Oppa and smile. Then I glance over at Myungsoo who is glaring at Ji Yong Oppa. My smile turns into a frown.

Why is Myungsoo glaring at Ji Yong Oppa? What happened while I went and brought WooHyuk here?

"Ji Yong, I see you met Woori's fiancee," WooHyuk says suddenly.

Myungsoo takes his eyes away from Ji Yong Oppa to look at WooHyuk.

"Ah, nae I did. Woori-ah, it looks like you have a keeper here. But if he ever hurts you, you come tell me, arraso?" Ji Yong Oppa says to me then pats me on the head.

I roll my eyes at him then nod. I glance at Myungsoo to see that he is glaring back at Ji Yong.

"So hyung, how long are you staying for?" WooHyuk asks.

"He's not. He just stopped by to say hello. Isn't that right, Ji Yong?" Appa says from behind me.

Ji Yong looks at my father. Then at me then at Woohyuk.

"Nae, Uncle. I only came by to say hello and to see how you two were doing. I was hoping to see that Woori-ah was speaking again," Ji Yong Oppa says.

Mianhae, Oppa. But I still can not speak.
