Freddy x Bonnie, My First True Love

Chapter 2

Bonnie's POV:
It had been a week since I begun working at the diner. I was living with Freddy, Chica, and Foxy in a small apartment. Bonnibelle, Chia, and Mangline live in the apartment to the right of us. On the left lived BB, Mari, Goldie, and Fredrick. The past week had been awkward yet happy for me. Freddy and I never mentioned the past, I guess he had moved on...sadly, I had not. I still loved him, after all these years.

I pulled into the Diner's driveway. I had gone shopping for Chica. She needed cake ingredients. I got out of my car and walked to the trunk. I got three bags out and I almost dropped one until, "Here, let me help." Freddy said, grabbing the third bag.

I blushed and nodded. "S-Sure." I said, fixing the bags around my wrists. He smiled at me, the smile I had grown to love. I sighed and looked at my feet.

"Huh? Bonnie? Is something wrong?" Freddy asked, placing his hand on my shoulder.

I snapped into reality and I jumped slightly. "O-Oh yes! I was just spaced out.." I told him, feeling my cheeks grow hot. He  nodded, seemingly satisfied with my explaination.

We walked in and I accidentally dropped my bags in shock. The place was destroyed. Tables and chairs were strewn about the room and there were glass bottles on the floor. I looked over and saw a pissed off Mangline. "Wh-" I started.

"You asshole!!" Mangline yelled, pointing an accusing finger at me. I gulped and discreetly grabbed onto Freddy's sleeve. He glanced at me worriedly.

"Mangline, what the hell?!" Freddy asked, obviously fuming with anger. You could see him shaking. His light brown bear ears twitching in irritation.

Mangline stomped over and slapped
me,...hard. I winced at the impact and held my cheek in shock. I was too shocked for words. My body shook with growing anxiety.

"Mangline!" Freddy yelled, grabbing her arm.

She hissed and her fox ears stuck up in anger. "How do you not see whats happening?!" She asked, glaring at me coldly.

I whimpered and I guess Freddy noticed that because the next thing he did was stepping in front of me. "Mangline...explain this to me..now.." He ordered, trying to hold back his furosity. He balled his fists until you could see the whites.

Mangline cowered for just a second. She regained her confidence and puffed out her chest proudly. "Can't you see that Bonnie is taking you from me?!" She asked, feigning innocence.

I swallowed my spit. Th-They're together..? I looked at Freddy and saw a tad bit of remorse. "Don't be silly Mangle. He's over me." He stated, stepping up to her.

Mangline smiled softly. "I guess I overreacted...sorry Bon.." She apologized, bowing her head.

I nodded. "No problem.." I replied, putting on a forced smile. I looked over and saw Bon Bon staring at me sympathetically.

I held back a sob as I saw the two brace each other. I-I guess he is o-over me..I shouldn't be surprised..its been 4 years..I bent down slightly to grab the bags. I picked them up and walked briskly past Freddy. I felt his eyes watching me, but I ignored it.

"B-Bon-" Bon Bon started. I pushed past her and I had run into the kitchen, tears already forming.

I knelt to the ground, silent tears falling from my eyes. I jumped slightly when I felt a hand on my back. I looked up and I saw my cousin's worried face. I leaped up and buried my face in the crook of her neck, crying my eyes out. "Shh..Bon..its okay.." She hushed, rubbing my back.

I felt sobs emit from my throat as I cried. "N-No its not!" I sobbed, my lip quivering.

She sighed and patted my head. "I'm so sorry..I thought they broke up.." She whispered.

"H-He's completely over m-me!!" I cried out. I whimpered and hiccuped. "It h-hurts..." I choked out.

Bon Bon gave me a sad smile. "I know..I'm sorry..just try to hang in there.." She murmured.

I nodded and rubbed my eyes free of tears. "C-Can I go home..I can't f-face him like th-this.." I pleaded.

She nodded. "Of course. I'll tell him you're not feeling well." She assured.

I smiled sadly and I stood up, walking out of the kitchen. I snuck out the back door, I got in my car, and I drove home.

Freddy's POV:
I stared at the kitchen doors worriedly. Bonnie looked really upset. I wonder why though? I looked at Mangline. She was batting her eye lashes at me. I know what you're thinking, why was I dating her? The answer is simple really, I was trying to get over Bonnie, and Mangline was the best option. I sighed and I pulled away from her. She gave me a pout that would've been cute if you weren't gay. "Freeeddyy!" She whined.

I looked at her. "Sorry Mangle, I'm going home right now. I'm exhausted from running around all day." I explained.

She nodded poutily. "Fine.." She mumbled. This past week, Mangline had gotten a bad attitude. She'd get snappy with people and hang on me til no end. I was really sick of it. She treated Bonnie like trash.

I walked out of the diner and noticed that Bonnie's car was gone. He must have run more errands. I got in my car and started driving towards the apartment complex.

I pulled my car into the parking lot and noticed Bonnie's red BMW parked under a tree. I parked beside him and got out of my car. I shut my door and locked it and started to head towards the doors. I walked in and went to the elevator, hitting the button 4. The apartments were on the fourth floor.

I pulled out my key and inserted it into the lock. I turned it and opened the door. I stepped in and then I smiled. Bonnie was sleeping on the couch, his legs dangling over the arm of the couch, his arms wrapped around a pillow in which he was hugging close to his chest, and his floppy bunny ears were draped over his face.

I calmly walked over and knelt before him. I moved his ears away from his face. "I love you Bunny.." I whispered, kissing his forehead.

His nose crinkled and his brow furrowed. I laughed slightly and I carefully placed my hands underneath his neck and legs. I picked him up and begun to carry him to his room. I placed him in his bed and kissed his forehead. "Goodnight..Bunny.." I whispered softly, before shutting off his lamp.

If only I could tell him my feelings..this would all be over..
