"Mom! Mom! Where are you!?!"
"Beth, she went to the store. What's wrong?"
"Maggie, there's nothing you can do. I need mom."
"Well who knows. Maybe I can do something to help!"
"I doubt it... but okay."
I'm not sure if I should tell her about what happened to Jimmy's uncle. I'll just make something up like we lost a chicken or something.
"We lost a chicken."
"What do you mean we lost a chicken?"
"I mean one of the chickens got out and I don't know where it went."
"Well Beth, don't you think you should've been a little more responsible?"
"Yes Maggie, I know that. But can you tell dad for me?"
"Sure, I guess."
"Thank you Maggie. I love you!"
"I love you too Beth, no matter what happens, I will always love you because you will always be my sister."
I just smiled and walked away. Now to go let a chicken out just in case my dad goes to count them later, so they don't think I'm lying.

"Go chicken! Hurry up! Run, before they see us!"
"Beth? What are you doing?"
"Hi mom. Oh, umm... the chicken got out and I just found it."
"Goodness Beth. You need to be more responsible and keep an eye on them when your out here. You understand?"
"Yes mom. Can I Talk to you later?"
"We're talking now aren't we?"
"I mean privately. Away from everyone."
"Of course we can sweetheart."
"Thank you."
Oh no, Maggie is coming.
"Beth! Beth! Oh, hi mom. Beth, there you are. Daddy wants to see you."
"Did you tell him about the chicken?"
"Yes."
"Oh no. Alright mom. I guess we can talk later."
