Chapter 8

Taehyung's P.O.V.:

"Where's Jungkook?"

Suga hyung looked up at me, "Mollayo. He said he'd be back soon though."

"Oh, okay." I walked over to the empty spot on the couch and pulled out my phone, clicking on Jungkook's contact ID.

"Eodiseoya?" I texted.

After a few minutes, I finally get a reply.

"Oh, I'm with Areum. Wae? Do you need anything hyung?" -JK

"Oh. Ani.. Just wondering where you are."

"I'm actually just leaving now." -JK

"Oh, jinjjayo? Waeyo?"

"What do you mean why?" -JK

"I mean I just assumed.. Since you were with Areum, you might have been busy."

"Well, not anymore hyung. I'm on the way, so don't worry😊" -JK

"Arasseo, arasseo! Come back safely!"

"Ne hyunggg~😁" -JK

I sighed. Just what was Jungkook doing with Areum?

"Did Jungkook reply to you?" Suga hyung suddenly asked.

"Oh, ne. He was with Areum but he's coming now," I replied.

"Oh, with Areum I see. So the boy's finally making a move," I hear him chuckle. But I raised an eyebrow.

"You mean he likes Areum?" I asked.

"That's what I think. Wae? What do you think?"

I just sat there silently thinking of how to reply.

"Mollayo. I thought they're just friends."

"True, but isn't it curious why they went to go see each other at this time?"

Suga hyung was right. Just exactly why were the two seeing each other again?

"Ehh, seolma!" I opposed. I shook my head at the thought and looked back at my phone. My eyes caught Areum's name by accident in my phone contacts.

I smiled to myself as I thinked back to the time when we all first met Areum.

*Flashback*

"Annyeonghaseyo! My name's Areum. It's very nice to meet you guys!" She smiled brightly.

The hyungs and I smiled as we bowed politely to her, introducing ourselves to her one by one. Then it came down to me.

"Annyeong. My name's Taehyung, but I go by my stage name. V," I smiled. She returned a smile back and bowed her head slightly.

"Nice to meet you.. V."

*End of Flashback*

I've always been anticipating to see Areum again, because the first time I locked eyes with her, my heart fell for her. Though we were busy with scheduling, I took time to text her and ask her how she has been doing.

And now that we're on break, I can finally have some time to get closer with Areum. Question is.... How?

Jungkook's P.O.V.:

"Yah! Did you bring any snacks?!" I heard Jimin hyung as I entered inside.

"Ani," I replied raising an eyebrow at him. I walked into the living room, seeing Suga hyung and V hyung on the couches.

I smiled and invaded V on the couch by laying on top of him, closing my eyes as I pretended to fall asleep.

"Yah! Get off, you're heavy," V complained. I grinned and opened my eyes, granting his wish.

"So... You went to see Areum?" He asked. "Yeah, wae?"

"Just wondering. So, what did you guys talk about?" He continued asking questions.

I sat silent for a moment thinking what to reply.

"Um... We just catches up on things together. That's all," I replied. I couldn't tell hyung what we were actually talking about, at least not now.

"Of course. You guys being the bestest of friends," he pouted. "Wae? Jealous aren't we hyung?" I smirked.

"No way! Why would I be jealous?" He chuckled. I shrugged my shoulders.

"You tell me, Mr. Jealous," I smirked. V smacked my head to scold me. I pouted and rubbed the spot he had hit.

"Yah! Hyung!" I whined. He had a smirk on his face.

"Yah, no fighting you two," Jimin hyung said.

"He started it!" V hyung replied pointing fingers at me. I gasped and glared at him.

"You hit me first!" I opposed. V stuck his tongue at me, and I continued glaring at him. Aigoo hyung!

"Just stop now children," Jimin hyung said. I pouted slightly and stood back on my feet.

"Meanies. Just watch, I'll get you back hug," I said to V hyung. I walked off back to my room where Namjoon hyung laid in his bed.

"Oh, where did you go?" Namjoon asked.

"Oh, I met up with Areum."

"Did you now? What did you guys talk about?" Hyung smirked.

"Um... Just stuff," I plainly stated. "That's it?"

I nodded my head, "What else were you expecting?"

"I don't know. I guess I thought you'd guys be going on a date."

"Um, no. We didn't," I chuckled.

"Sucks for you. If you don't go for her, I'll take a shot," Namjoon chuckled. I raised an eyebrow and stared at hyung.

"Yah! Andwae. Not with my friend hyung," I glared cutely. Namjoon just chuckled quietly and went back on doing whatever he was doing on his phone.

Aish! What is it what these hyungs whenever I talk about Areum? Do they all like her? It makes me wonder how they really think of her.

Areum's P.O.V.:

By the time I came back, it was 12:48PM. Unnie was probably up in her room. But should I tell her? Should I tell her that I just met up with Jungkook and talked about how he likes her back? I sighed softly and just went back to my room.

This was unfair, but then again. It is my fault for not gathering the guts to tell him myself.

Suddenly, there was a knock at my door. My ears perked up and brought my attention towards the door.

"Come in," I called out. The door opened and unnie peeked her head inside first, until she entered in closing the door behind her. She had a mischievous smile plastered on her face. It almost scared me.

"Areum. I was thinking... Since you and Jungkook are closer than I to him, is it possibly you can.. Help me?" She asked. Great, now I have to help unnie too. Just great....

"Help you to get with Jungkook?" I asked softly. She nodded her head in reply.

"Pretty please?"

What else could I say? There is no possible way I could say no. What good will that do? Face it Areum. It seems they were meant for each other. Learn to accept that.

"I guess...," I mumbled softly. But she heard me. She suddenly smiled widely and engulfed me into a big hug.

"THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I'll never forget this!" She squealed slightly. And there was a smile, still plastered on her face.

"Thank you Areum-ah."

"Yeah.... You're welcome." She smiled once again and left my room just a bit after.

No, no, no! It can't happen like this. Get your act together Areum! Nobody said it was ever easy trying to confess your feelings for a guy! So you got to fight for it! Fight for it....
