Ch.2 - " what's your name beautiful? "

" Mila, come sit down " my mom said. I sat next to my sister. " what's happening? " I asked her. " I don't know " she says and continued playing with her barbies. " what's wrong? Why are we here? " I asked. My mom and dad looked at eachother.

" Camila, we're moving to California " my eyes lit up. " REALLY? " I asked. She nods. " yes!!!! " I yelled and jumped up and down. " when are we leaving?? " I asked so excited.

" in 3 days! We're leaving right after school is over! Also! There is a possibility that we may come back in a few months. " I nodded. " okay! " I said and ran upstairs quickly. I grabbed my laptop and did the essay. I quickly did all of the 10 pages so I didn't have to do it tommorow. When I finished my homework, I grabbed some cupcake pajamas and put those on.

" MILA! DINNER IS READY! " My mom yelled from downstairs. 
" ALRIGHT! " I said and ran downstairs. I sat down at the dinner table as my mom grabbed 2 pizza boxes from the counter. " we're having pizza tonight, I know mila won't mind. She loves pizza! " my mom said. I laughed and grabbed myself 2 pizzas and a water bottle.

I may be a girl but I can eat. A lot.
" mila, you're getting you're braces off tomorrow " my mom said. I look up at her. " really?? " I asked. She nods.
" yes, tomorrow. You will be getting out after lunch tomorrow. Okay? " I nodded and smiled.

" also! the Mahones will be here tomorrow for dinner. " i choked on my water. " what? " I asked coughing.
" yeah! Michele wants to see us for the last time! "

You see, austin's mom and my mom are best friends. They've been best friends since they were little kids. My mom and Michele ( austin's mom ) think Austin and I are " best friends ". Well we're not. He's my Bully and that's all. Just a bully.

" what time? " I asked. " a few hours after you get your braces off " I nodded.
" and Michele, Austin, Sophie, you, and I will be at the mall the next day. Okay? So both of you and Austin aren't going to school The next day. Got it? " I slowly nodded and finished the rest of my pizza.

When I finished I went back upstairs and brushed my teeth. I looked at myself in the mirror.

" my braces are coming off tomorrow. I'm moving to California. I may come back to Miami. I'm gonna be a new person. I'm gonna change everything. My life. My looks. Everything " I whispered to myself in the mirror.

* next day *
" here's the essay! I'm not gonna be here tomorrow! I don't want it to be late " I told the teacher and gave her the 10 page essay. She nods. " thanks Camila " The day went pretty quickly. It was lunch time, right when I was about to get my lunch out of my locker the announcer said " Camila Cabello to the office please? " I grabbed all my things from my locker and walked to the office.

There I see my mom sitting down reading a magazine. " hi mom! " I said and smiled at her. " oh! Hi sweetheart!"  My mom said. My mom signed a few things to get me out of school and then we got in her car. We then drove to the dentist to get my braces off.

2 hours later..
" okay! You're all done sweetheart! " I got up and looked in the mirror that the doctor gave me. " woah " I said and laughed. I touched my teeth with my tounge. That felt REALLY weird.

" Camila! Sweetheart, stop looking at your teeth! We need to go buy groceries " I laughed and we both went in her car. " so why are we at the grocery store again? " I asked taking my hair out of the braids I did earlier. My hair was wavy now which I liked.

" we need the stuff for tonight! "

" ooo what are you making? " I asked.

" lasagna and chocolate cake " I groaned. " can we just fast forward to tonight? " I asked and laugh as I got out of mom's car. " anyways, you get the stuff for the cake and I'll get the things for the lasagna. Got it? " I nodded.

" oh! here's a list for other things " she hands me a list with a few things. I read the list.

1. Bread
2. Eggs
3. Milk
4. Oil

And then a few other things. I grabbed a cart and went through the things from the list. I grabbed the milk and eggs first. When I went back to my cart I bumped into someone.

" oh my god! Sorry! " I said and grabbed the milk that fell. Good thing the eggs didn't fall. I got up. " sorry! Again! " I said. We both looked at each other. Oh my god. It's Austin.

" what's your name beautiful? " he asked. He probably doesn't notice me because of my teeth. " uh.. C-Camila " I stuttered. His face softens. " Camila... Cabello? " he asked. I nodded and smiled showing off my perfect white teeth.

" what.. What happened to your braces? " he asked. " I got them out..I gotta leave now! Bye! " I said quickly and putting the milk and eggs in the cart and then leaving to get the rest of the things mom needed. I finally found my mom and we paid for the things.

That was pretty interesting.... Austin called me beautiful.. He was probably gonna try to get me to like him, and then make me try to have sex with him and then leave me. That's how he always is.

" so, we need to start cooking now! Only because we both need to use the oven, so you and Sophia will be cooking the chocolate cake and then I'll be cooking the lasagna. Got it? " I nodded grabbing the cake mix and all the things.

Preparing the cake took me and Sophie about an hour. We then put the cakes in pans and then put them in the oven. I guess mom was going to cook lasagna later. After 15 minutes we heard the oven ring. I got it out with oven mitts and then put it in the fridge for a few minutes.I then took it out and then started frosting the cake with chocolate frosting.

Now, I need to get dressed for dinner.
