I would like to bring to attention that this is my first story and it will take a long while to finish, especially with 8th grade soon starting for me.
Hello, whoever is reading this. I would like you to know that I am doing some major editing now. It has been a year since I have touched this story and I would like to say that as a 9th grader without language arts as a course until my second semester this is what I am working on. This has become a self-made project that will still take a lot of time to finish so, sorry if I don't update a lot. Don't forget to enjoy the story, and thank you for your patience if you are reading.

Hi, I'm Ryan Calypso Bell and this is the story of how I came to realize that I was indeed a wizard after all. I also come to control my powers and fulfill a prophecy, in which I had no idea about until afterwards.
**********************************************************
It was the week before my 11th birthday and just let me tell you I was excited! I couldn't wait for it to finally come, hoping that I would get my Hogwarts letter. My birthday is on August 31st which just happens to be the day before the school year started at Hogwarts. My parents had already given me my birthday present because they had a trip to France that they had to go on where they would meet up with other pureblood families like the Malfoy's. I never did like the Malfoy's, they were too extreme with their beliefs that purebloods were better, but nevermind that, back to me. My parents had gotten me a barred owl. It had intimidating black eyes. I named her Obsidian.
********** One week later **********
Waking up to a loud hoot from Obsidian was the first thing I did and as it turned out I was late for a tutoring lesson. That set off my day to a pretty bad start. I was tired and just wasn't feelin' all that great so, I skipped the lesson. On my way downstairs to get breakfast I remembered that my Hogwarts letter was due to come today. Hoping to see an owl with my Hogwarts letter in its talons, I ended up running downstairs and almost tripped on my way. There was no owl. Much to my disappointment but, I remained hopeful, surely the owl must have gotten lost. Sadly though as the day progressed it had started to seem less likely that the owl had lost and more likely that one was never sent in the first place. That was when the questions started flooding my mind.
Was I not accepted? Did I not have magic? I must have magic, my family is pureblood after all. There's no way I'm a squib, so why didn't I get my letter? Did the headmaster make a mistake? What are my parents going to think when they get home from France? What if they get mad at me? What am I going to do?!?
