"LaLa!"
"Angel!"
Dean's daughter was in the backseat and the last time I had seen her she was just a baby.. Now she was two. She really couldn't say Laela so she said LaLa which is good enough for me.. I wondered what my home would be like.. I hadn't been there in years. I looked back at Angel in her car seat, she was the most precious little girl I had ever seen, her dark curly hair framed her face and her beautiful grey eyes. I was proud to call her my nice, for she wasn't only cute she was smart too. For a two year old she already knew how to count to 10 and her ABC's. I laughed when she reached up and pinched my nose. Dean looked tense and I didn't want to make whatever was going through his head worse so I decided not to say anything. He'll tell me when he's ready.
I was just about to ask Dean about his girlfriend, Rachel, when we pulled up into this little driveway with a log A-frame house. Dean turned the car but didn't make a move to get out yet.
"Where are we Dean?" I was conused, this wasn't the house that had held my very short childhood. I didn't recognize this place at all, We were on Fox Lane. There were tree's surronding the house, no one else was in sight. Altough I could tell this lonely house was lived in for there was a pool and trampoline in the side yard, and I could spot a tree house around the back from the car.
"We're home, that's where." Dean finally said after a long pause.
"You bought a new house?!" I was bouncing in my seat with excitement. Finally out of the terrible house I had only ever known. A house that could never have been a home...
