Pokemon Dark Types(Pokemon FanFiction)

The Laverre Gym

I do not own Pokemon or the characters in it, except my OC Night who I own.

A girl with raven colored hair stood before the Laverre Gym. An Umbreon sat on her right shoulder its eyes glowing with determination and a medium sized Mightyena stood on her left. The trainer also had a determined look just like her Pokemon.

"Are you ready you two" she asked glancing at her Umbreon who gave out a growl.

"Lets wipe the floor withem. " She then looked down at Mightyena who gave a nod its fur on its back starting to fluff up.  She took a step then two then three. She had started running forward with Mightyena beside her.  Jumping to a stop right in front of the door she slowly opened it to see four teenage girls. One was a ginger another had black hair, the third one had dark brown hair, and last but, not least was a blonde.

"Welcome to the Laverre Gym" the four girls said simultaneously.

"We are here to battle Valerie the gym leader" the 13 year old girl proclaimed. The four teens stepped aside to let the trainer and her Pokemon go up the stairs to the gym. Going up the stairs she then walked through a small hallway. Her yellow fedora went down her head slightly so she had to use her hand to move it back up. Suddenly a bright light came down blinding her for a moment. Umbreon and Mightyena let a growl of annoyance as the light came down on them. 

She stopped at the trainers platform waiting for the gym leader. Suddenly all went dark around.  The gym walls turned black and then pink petals started floating down the screens. The three were  distracted by the screens when Mightyena noticed Valerie rising from below the floor. He let out a bark getting his trainers attention. She then turned towards Valerie. The screens went back to their normal look and then the black haired girl started to talk.

"The time has finally come, Valerie the Laverre gym leader is now making her entrance." Valerie took a bow.

"I welcome you all to my gym," she stated "I believe you are Night right? How many gym badges have you received?"

"Five" Night said with a grin "and then after I defeat you I will have six badges then I will have two more once I defeat my next two gyms." Valerie giggled a bit.

"You remind me of a boy who recently challenged me saying almost exactly the same thing." She commented "and he had a small Pikachu with him. But, I won't let you win because of that."

"Of course not and I'm ready for you."Night shouted putting her foot forward.

"Alright then shall we."

"The Laverre Gym battle between Valerie the gym leader and the challenger Night will now get underway" stated the black haired girl while she held her arm up. "Each trainer has the use of two Pokemon and the battle will be over when either trainers Pokemon are unable to battle. Only the challenger will be permitted to substitute Pokemon. That's all."

"I will choose first" Valerie said. She then took out her Pokemon ball.

"Sylveon Appear!" Sylveon landed shouting out its name. Valerie started to talk to her Pokemon. Night watched shocked. She exchanged glances with Umbreon who watched intently.

"What?" Night gasped. The gym leader gave a her a smile.

"Honestly I always wanted to be a Pokemon so I managed to learn how to speak to them in their language. I can't talk to every Pokemon like that just the ones close to me. I happen to be quite strong as a fairy type trainer. So watch your step."
