This is Cody Christian/Alex Whitman

Alex
He woke up, reaching for Ellianna's warmth only to fall off the couch. Stumbled, well more like fallen, into awake, he realized in the dim lighting of the candle.... Which smelled so good.... Feeling so sleepy...
Alex. His dream voice said. Your girlfriend is missing and you're  asleep. The thought of Ellianna missing shot him to wide awake mode. Standing up and rubbing the sleep out of his grayish-blue eyes, he half-walked half-stumbled into the room they shared and rummaged through his sock drawer. When his hands closed around a small box he almost screamed in relief. Inside was a eight carat diamond double band engagement ring. He had it for six months now, and he was just waiting for the right time to do it. You might ask why eight carats. Well, in their line of work generally they need as little weight as possible. See, what no one knew about Alex and Elli was that they worked for the FBI. Most people saw them as the hopelessly in love couple, that part was true. Their cover story was he was a carpenter and she an interior designer. Working on a house together, it was love at first sight. Well, the love part was correct. See, the director of the FBI made it mandatory that no one knew about them, so that was their cover story. It worked, so they stuck with it. Alex snapped out of it, and went around the house looking for Ellianna. He called her name, called her phone, told her he had food, nothing worked. Alex had a bad feeling about this. It had been two and a half hours.
He ran a hand through his hair, debating to call Jeff. He was worried, but if it turned out to be nothing.... Finally, his jaw set in a hard line, he dialed the director.
It rang, and rang, and rang. Alex was starting to think he wouldn't pick up.
"Alex? Why the" he let out a string of cuss words here, "are you calling me at 4:38 in he morning!?"
"It's Ellianna, sir."
He heard a sharp intake of breath from the other side. Ellianna was everyone's favorite co-worker. She always brought snacks, always helped, and always solved cases to make it easier for other people. Jeff considered her like a daughter.
"What about her? I know it's not because she said no."
Alex was confused by this. "What do you mean?"
Jeff made a snort. "Boy, she is head over sneakers for you."
Alex's heart swelled, but he focused on the matter at hand. "Sid, I can't find her anywhere. I've called her, searched the apartment seven times, everything. Her shoes aren't even missing."
"Did you try saying you had food?" Jeff asked.
Alex nodded, but remembered Jeff couldn't see him. "Yeah, I did."
"Okay, I'll talk to everyone at work tomorrow."
"Thank you sir." Alex said, and hung up. He flopped on the couch, and for some reason his memory took him to when he first saw Ellianna.
"Sir, what is exactly you want?"
"Ellianna, the newbie, is great at everything." Jeff said.
"So what exactly do you want me to do?"  Alex asked in confusion, his eyebrows knit and a hand unconsciously on his neck.
"She's great at everything. Except working under pressure. I need you to come up with scenarios for her."
"How many people will I be with?" Alex asked, figuring if he had two or three he could manage.
"Just you." Jeff looked at him with a look, but Alex still protested.
"What!?! You can't possibly expect me to come up with realistic scenarios to train her with, using only myself! I haven't even seen her! I don't know her! What if I come up with a scenario that triggers something from her past! What if I come up with something that's too easy!" Alex almost yelled.
Jeff merely gave him an amused smirk. "You'll figure it out."
Sighing, he went to grab a notebook and pen. He started scribbling out ideas, when a gorgeous brunette, no, her hair was much more interesting than that. It was like a dark caramel, sparkling vibrantly in the light. And her eyes, they were a brilliant, electric blue. She was quite possibly the most beautiful girl he had ever seem.
"Excuse me, are you Alex Whitman?"
He was shaken out of his daze.
"That's me, how can I help you?"
"I'm Ellianna Woods."
And in this moment, Alex realized he was quite possibly screwed. Managin a swallow, looked at her distracting blue eyes. Blue seemed like such a simple word, like what you use to describe a blanket or a chair (I'm sorry the creativeness isn't exactly coming so I just used the first two things). But her eyes were so much different. They were like the sky, bright and easy to be captivated by. Like the sea on an early summer day, calm and peaceful but powerful. 'Jeez she was bringing out his inner Shakespeare. This was going to be interesting.
