The plane ride was awful. Like it was really horrible. I was sitting next to some fat guy who was sleeping, ooh & did I mention he was talking in his sleep?
But that’s not the worst part, it’s not even in compare to that stupid baby. Now normally I loved babies, they’re so cute. But this baby, this baby just got on my nerves.
Oooh & I had this kid sitting behind me, he was kicking the chair.
Yeah, that wasn’t very fun.
Anyways when I got off I thought, hey...Matilda?
Hmm, I recognise a Matilda. Matilda, Matilda.
Oooh I remember Aunt Matilda. I’m going to live with them, awesome!
So I realised I was standing in the departure room while looking retarded trying to remember an Aunt Matilda.
I went outside & was attacked by a bear hug. Good, I won't have to search for her now I thought.
"Look at you! All grown up & beautiful," she said.
"Thank you." I replied. "How are you?" I asked.
"I'm fine dear , how are you? How was the plane ride? I bet you're very tired. Let's get you home." Wow she's a very happy person... I thought.
“Ookay”
We went to her car & I found the most adorable little kid ever, I think he’s about 4-5.
We climbed into the car.
“Hello little guy, & what’s your name?”
“Sam,” he replied.
I could tell he was a shy one.
“Well hello Sam, I’m Summer.”
“Hi Summer.”
Aww he’s so cute.
“He’s adorable, is he yours?
“Thank you, & yes he is.”
“You have a nice car.”
“Thanks hun. So how do you feel?”
I was confused. Why would I feel bad?
"Umm, I feel okay thanks for asking.”
Sam was singing. And did I mention he has a wicked voice for a 4-5 year old.
Hmm… how old is he? I wondered.
“How old is he?” I asked.
“Who Sam?” she replied.
“Yeaah.”
“Oooh he’s 5.”
I KNEW HE WAS 5! WOOHOO. I didn’t realise I was dancing for joy over my awesome discovery until Aunt Matilda asked if I was okay.
Well I felt embarrassed.
“Umm, yeaah I’m okay” I think I was blushing because,..
“Oooh hun there’s no need to feel embarrassed. We all have our moments.”
That just made me blush harder.
“Just wait till we get there, everyone is waiting to meet you. I don’t think they remember you. But I'm pretty sure they'll remember you when they see you.”
I just kept quiet.
Hmm,.. I wonder how many kids she has.
We came to a stop.
" So, Summer honey these are my kids."
Then she started pointing at each telling me their names & ages.
"You know Sammie he's the youngest 5, this is Eric & this is Alex they're twins 15 , this is Jake he's your age 16. You two used to be so close. It was cute really. This is Adam 17, this is Mark he's 18. This is Jason, he's 19. And this is Malcom he's 23. Say hello boys."
There was a chorus of heeys & hellos.
"Hi guys." I replied.
"Oookay I'll leave you to it, I'm pretty sure you'll remember each other."
All of them seemed to remember me. And I remembered most of them. Except for that Jake dude. Even though we were like bffs. Oooh well.
"Heey I remember you guys too, well most of you guys I just don't remember you Jake."
I could tell he was shocked. His jaw was like going to break from being on the floor for so long.
"I can't believe you don't remember me. We used to be the closest. We used to go to the park & play with dog poop."
"Sorry I still don't remember you." Eww, I can't believe I used to play with dog poop.
"We used to take snails & have a race with them."
"Oooh I remember you!"
"Well finally."
"Heey, It's not my fault I have a bad memory."
"I'm sure it isn't."
They showed me my room. Ookay these people are LOADED.
My room was awesome. It was all white & red.
And they even gave me a laptop as a welcome present. Sweet.
I have yet to meet Mr. Richard. They told me he's always at work.
Did I happen to mention that these guys were hot?
Yeaah, well I mentioned it now.
Anyways so I spent the rest of the day with the twins.
They were awesome & made me feel welcome.
