Surviving The Richards

Earth day:

I have been living with the Richards for a week.

It was sorta fun, that is if you take Jake out of the picture.

That cocky jerk.

He's mean too.

One conversation & I was like I can't believe I used to be close to you.

So I started treating him badly.

Like 3 days ago in lunch I was like:

"Hey Eric can you pass the salt?"

Jake made a move to pass it to me.

I glared at him.

"Are you deaf? I said Eric."

Yeaah, I know pretty mean of me right?

Soo I felt bad, and me being me I feel bad really easily. So I went to apologise, that's what people do

when they're sorry right?

Soo I made a whole plan.

I would go apologise & make it up to him by taking him to the park & buying him ice-cream, too much right?

But I was determined to make things okay between me & him.

So I went to his room & knocked on the door.

"Who is it?"

"Errrm,... it's me Summer. I was just wondering if I could talk to you for a second?"

I felt the sound of someone unlocking the door & then infront of me stood the handsome jerk. I might dislke him but doesn't make him any less handsome right?

I looked behind him expecting to see a messy room with shirts & socks everywhere, but it was actually clean. Wow.

"Yeaah?" Mhmm, theres that cocky smirk of his.

"Oooh, umm... I... umm."

"Yes, you?"

"Umm, I know I've been treating you badly & I'm really sorry. So I decided to make it up to you. We'll go to the park & get some ice-cream."

" Sure when?"

"Whenever is best for you."

"Ookay I'll be down in half an hour & we'll head out."

For some reason I had a bad feeling about this.

Ooh well better get ready.

So we head out. Yeep I definitely had a bad feeling about this.

Soo we walked around the park in akward silence which I decided to break.

"Hmm, umm,.. that tree is so small compared to that tree." You're a smart cookie Summer. Real smart. You know that?

He gave me a weird look then smiled. Oookay again with the bad feelings.

"Yeaah it is, go hug it or something, after all it is earth day."

"Really?" It's earth day? And how would he know that.

"Yeaah it is."

"Oookay."

And I went & hugged the tree.

And quietly said stuff like that tree might be bigger but you're awesome-er!

Yeeah I'm weird. Sue me.

I didn't realise all the weird looks till Jake started laughing.

I looked around at all the people & blushed. Yeaah, that was probably a weird scene.
