Madison's POV
I was standing and talking to a group of friends when Sam walked up to the group. Since it was a mix of boys and girls, there was a chorus of both
"Hey, you're Sam right?"
And
"Hi Sam! I'm ________"
As I was about to introduce myself, I heard a
"Watch out!"
I felt something hit my head, and then everything went black.
Sam's POV
Crap! That girl was about to introduce herself, and then she got hit in the head with a soccer ball and fainted. Everyone crowded around her and I just stood there awkwardly and watched as people freaked out and poked and prodded her. Thankfully a teacher had seen what happened and rushed over.
He pulled out a walkie talkie and called the janitor, who came in his janitor cart and took the girl's still unmoving body to the nurse. We heard the sirens of an ambulance about three minutes later.
That's hardly a good impression I've made. First I crash into her, then she gets a concussion while talking to me.
For the rest of the day, the girl (whose name is Madison, or so I'm told) is all anyone can talk about. The guy who kicked the ball at her head is being ridiculed everywhere he goes. No one will leave him alone. I feel bad, but I don't want to make a scene.
Ken's POV
After Madison's "accident" I acted shocked and followed Sam around and helped him with anything he needed. I say 'accident' like that because I asked the guy to kick the ball at her. Sam was talking to her, and I really don't need to have to compete against her for Sam's attention. There's a dance next month, and I'm gonna get really close to him, and then ask him in like two weeks. Luckily, it's girl's choice!
I do feel kinda bad about Madison. But, all's fair in love and war, right?
Madison's POV
I opened my eyes and was immediately was confused. I tried to sit up, but it hurt so much I had to lay back down. A man in a white lab coat walked in.
"Oh, good you're awake!"
My parents walked in.
"Oh honey, are you okay? Do you remember what happened?" My mom asked.
I groaned a what.
"You got a concussion and were knocked unconcious. Luckily, you'll be perfectly fine tomorrow or the day after, then you can leave. You probably won't be able to go back to school this week, but I brought your iPod and phone so you can be entertained."
The man I presumed to be a doctor spoke
" But right now you just need to sleep."
Sleep sounded really good, so I closed my eyes and immediately fell asleep.
I'm sorry that its so short, this is my first ever story like this, so I don't know quite what to put in each chapter. If anybody has any suggestions, lemme know. I also apologize for the long wait, I have a lot if school work right now, and have to keep my grades up. Bye!
