The Encounter

I stare at May from across the bustling street. Her red eyes shone and an evil grin spread of her face, showing her pearly white fangs. If it wasn't for her ability to control what humans perceive I'm sure someone would've noticed her by now." Why the hell are you here?", I mumble. Her pointed ears twitch slightly, indicating that she can hear me." Why, can't a girl visit her sister?", she asks mockingly. Though she's all the way across the street, in the background and well hidden, I can hear her perfectly."You sure as hell can't.", I growl, my anger rising. I hope Emerald gets here soon. She's the only who can help me with my anger. May only laughs at my response."Well aren't you rude.", she says, eyebrows raised. She snatches a guy walking past her.

" Someone will have to die for that.", she says, pulling the struggling stranger into an alley. I follow after them, trying my best to look as normal possible. I know she's probably trying to bait me, but I can't let someone die. I meet her and the stranger at the far end of the alley. She has him on his knees, a knife to his throat. I gulp.and ready myself for what is probably going to be a very hard fight."You might as well leave Tyrica.", she says." There's nothing though can do to save him." I take a step foward and she presses the knife against his throat harder, emitting a drop blood. I took a closer look at the guy. He had green eyes and brown hair. He definitely was to die for, and I usually don't feel that way about guys. He had the most terrified look on his face, making me want to save him even more. Before I knew it, I shape-shifted into my wolf side and pounced on May, who was surprised. I knock her down and bite down on her left leg hard, tearing the flesh. She cries out and gets up and stumbles back."This isn't over, abandoned child.", she says, growling. Her last two words hit me hard, leaving me taken aback. Before I know it she's gone, and I'm left alone with the stranger, who looks even more terrified than before, if possible. I shape-shift back to my human side, and walk over to him, he scoots back a little, pain cfossing his face, and I realize there's a gash in his right hip. I frown. Must've been May's knife. I stand there and look at him, not sure how to handle the situation. Lucky, Emerald comes running and she let's out a huge breath of relief when she sees I'm okay. But then she sees the guy, and releases a exasperated sigh." I'll knock him out.", she says, and before he can react, she goes over to him at lighting speed and bites him, knocking him out. Things have just gotten complicated.
