.. we were stalked by this weird ass guy at the swimmingpool
we were standing at the slide (bc who doesnt love slides)
and this guy from our age or older was standing behind us, and i smiled at him, just being polite
turns out he tought something else cause he followed us after we went on the slide, when we were in the pool, when we got out the pool, when we went to our towels, when we went to the other pool, when we got out that pool, when we went to friends, JUST THE WHOLE FUCKING TIME
I was scared af, i didn't like it at all
britney shrugged it of and just said don't be scared what can happen
so we just went back to the pool, he was still following us
but then, he got next to us
and guess what he did
he threw water at us
that's all
after an hour or so, he threw water at us, not saying a word
britney laughed her ass of and i was just standing there like wtf dude, what do you want
we got out of the pool and i really wanted to go home because i still was scared , i didn't feel comfortable and the fact that i was in my bikini didn't make it much better
we stayed a little longer and then went back home
(( ok so, this book is supposed to be cute and funny but i just wanted to share this story. we need to talk about rape and sexual assault. the fact that i left that swimming pool because there was a guy FOLLOWING us, seeing we were not comfortable with that, isn't ok. everything but. i know i can't stop rape, or change someone's mind but i can always try. rape needs to stop. no. is. no. if you see that someone's uncomfortable, stop touching him or her. if someone says stop, you stop. someone doesn't owe you something because you paid her or his drink. again , no. is. no. boys and girls out there, if someone does something you don't want, don't be scared to say no or stop. please, don't support rape culture. don't say things as 'she deserved it' or 'don't wear that, it's to revealing' girls can wear whatever they want, and if a guy gets turned on by a fucking shoulder ( pointing to america's dresscode like ) the guy is wrong. not the girl. you know, girls and boys out there, don't be a rapist. thanks for your attention x))
