Chapter Eight

~ Blake ~
I was woken up by the sound of Cassie crying and scream out the name of a boy. I jump out of bed and run to hers and shake her trying to wake her up " Cassie come oin wake up" I say repeatedly while shaking her. She finally wakes up and clings to me crying, I scoot her over and get into the bed with while whispering sweet nothings into her ear trying to calm her down. Once she finally stops crying "thank you" she whispers against my chest " for what sweetheart?" I ask "for helping me calm down if you hadn't I would have been crying for hours" she closes her eyes and sighs "your welcome love" I whisper as I start to get up. She grabs my arm and I look at her confused "can you just stay with me for tonight!" She asks shyly "of course" I turn back around towards her and get under the blankets and pull her to my chest. I watch her as she slowly drifts off to sleep "I think I might love you Cass" I whisper and kiss her temple then fall asleep myself.

~Cassie~
I wake up the next morning with Blake's arms around me. I smile and turn in his arms so I can snuggle into his chest. As I snuggle into him he pulls me closer to him "I think I might be falling for you Blake" I whisper to myself and then smile as the knew feeling makes my heart flutter. I stay in his arms for a little longer than decide to go take a shower and get changed. I take his arms off my waist and make my way to the bathroom and take a shower. I silently walk back into the room to see that Blake is gone "where did you go beautiful?" Blake whispers in a busy morning voice as he wraps his arms around me, "I went and took a shower there handsome" I said smiling up at him. He nods then slides his hands down my waist. I stop his hands when they got to my hips and I look at him "no we are not doing that Blake" I give him a warning look then walk to my closet and pull out an outfit the consists of a batman skirt, a black crop top and last but not least batman vans. I walk back to the bathroom with the clothes, my make-up, and my hair straightener. I get dressed do my make-up then I straighten my hair. I make my way to the room and find a fully dressed Blake in black jeans, black vans, and a joker shirt. I laugh "what are we going to be matching villains and hero's today?" He smiles at me "yup" I shake my head and walk over to my nightstand and put my lip rings in then I put my gages in. Blake and I walk to the cafeteria to get breakfast. As we sit down some guy comes over I'm guessing that he is Blake's brother "what do you want Kris?" Blake asks with so much venom in his words "just wanted to ask my brother why he hasn't introduced me to his beautiful friend" he looks at me and smirks. I glare at him 'such a cocky asshole' I think to myself as I look back at Blake who looks at me. I look back to Kris and stand up "the names Cassie now just so you know for future reference you are not my type so if you ever try to ask me out you will get flat out rejected" I say as I stick my hand out for him to shake "well then its nice to meet you Cassie and I think I can change your mind" Kris shakes my hand and smiles at me, "no you won't I don't like cocky Jackass's like you so you can just scurry off and go find a slut to fuck so yeah" Blake and Kris both look at me wide eyed as I take my hand back and sit down. I sigh and continue eating "bitch" Kris mummbles "Kris is it, if you truly want to see a bitch look at all the girls you hook up with" I say as I get up and throw my trash away and walk to the mother of the orphanage's office. As I walk I can feel all the eyes on me as they all stare at me dumbfounded. I knock on the office door "come in" the mother of the place say from the other side, I turn the nob and push the door open " my I help you miss Cassie?" She asks kindly "ummm...... I was wondering if Blake and I could go to the store to get some hair die and a couple other things?" I asked looking down at the floor "of course dear go right a head" she looks at me with a kind smile and caring eyes "thank you" I say quietly and walk back out closing the door behind me. I walk to the room and find Blake there waiting for me "Cass I honestly think I love you, you are the first girl to have ever talk to my brother like that and on top of that your the only girl to have rejected him" he says as I walk through the bedroom door. I smile at him and sit next to him " well everything I said is the truth he isn't my type I hate cocky assholes like him, I like the sweet, protective, caring guys like you" I kiss his cheek then walk over to my nightstand grabbing my phone and wallet. Blake looks at me as he blushes "so where I you going?" He asks "more like where are we going? I asked the mother of the place if you and I could go to the store and get hair die and a couple of other thing" I say grabbing his hand and pulling him along as I walk out of the room and down the hall. We walk out the front door and into the bright Ohio sun. I take a deep breathe of fresh air and start to walk down the sidewalk with Blake walking next to me.
