Golden Time: A New Beginning

Chapter 1: Post Marriage Life

While it's the last year of university for Banri, a new batch of freshers were going through their orientation. It refreshed Banri's memory while he was rushing towards the class, his clock in the hand kept reminding how late he is today. 

"Banri!~ My Husband!~ You forgot to give me kisses before you go~" 

Koko exclaimed as Banri picked up her call. 

"Yeah, Yana san kept yelling to come early today. I'll give it back when I come home~"

While pulling out a happy smile, Banri enters the class to realize it just had ended. He looked around for Mitsuo for a bit, surprisingly found Oka-chan greeting him from the back.

"Hi Banri, Looking so happy today."

"You areee.... Looking for Mitsuo?"  

Banri started nodding his head, suddenly raising his hand high, waving at Linda. "Ayooo, Good morning Linda Senpai!", Linda comes along with another guy, greeting both Oka and Banri "Banri~" Linda sighs and stares at Banri in a bit disturbed face "Just Linda is fine! Okay? Linda! Linda!" Looking at how Banri smiles with a hand behind his head, Linda also smiles. "Excuse us, we'll get going now. Do drop by the club Banri! We miss you since you got married" 

"Ta~~~da~~~~!" ... Holding the inner excitement in himself before exploding, "B..A...N..RIIIIII!!!" 
Mitsuo screams as he jumps at him from back and muzzles his hair. A few second-year students gazed upon them while walking by. No matter how uncool it was, or how angry Mitsuo was with Banri, they both started laughing together and Mitsuo said, "Not even one call since the wedding! It's going that good huh?" He teases Banri with a grin and smirk mixed face, while flapping his hand on Banri's back. 

While catching up, everyone goes to the canteen area and sits together, and Banri starts off the conversation. Even though it was early and a sudden one, the marriage was certainly a life fulfilling moment for Banri. Especially now, this post marriage scenario is quite the happiest moment of his life. While discussing these, Chinami interrupts, "You two are such lovebirds. Will Koko come to uni tomorrow?" Banri nods yes and tell them how Koko is busy designing their new house, buying and decorating it to their own dream house. Everyone sighs of relief hearing such a sweet story. 

"Okay guys enough about me. Tell me about you guys!"

"What did I miss in the past 3 weeks?" 

Many other students were walking around as usual. The Canteen got a new kitten and now it keeps wandering around as Banri and others were chitchatting. Soon the kitten comes close to Oka-chan and she picks it up, holding it close and adoring it with a full bright smile. 

"Nothing special happened."

Banri spotted 2D kun, as he was reading a book while walking towards Banri. He looks up at the table and get's surprised, "Eh? You finally showed up"

"Yeah, you know handling new marriage. I missed you too 2D Kun"

2D kun sat down and started looking around. "Final year sure is taking my toll, I don't like this place anymore". Mitsuo agreed, saying he just wants to pass and get out of this place. 

"But, but, I love all my friends here"

Oka exclaimed with her smile, spreading the full aura of positive energy, that everyone is used to by now. Mitsuo started looking around and can't stop staring at Linda. 

He may have been seeing things, or it may have been a waking dream, but Mitsuo can't stop thinking about Linda for some time now. He keeps seeing him and Linda getting married like the way Banri and Koko did. 

Banri on the other hand, he is a more grown person now. He sounds more happier, mature and understanding towards everyone. Oka didn't change at all, she still is in love with her friends. 2D Kun was more focused on what comes after the uni life, hence he always stayed busy reading different books, preparing for his upcoming job life. 

"Only 3 months remain till the semester final. I can't stop thinking about it"

2D Kun expresses with a sigh, while Mitsuo laughs off at it to give the inspirational aura saying "It's alright, we'll pass just fine. Don't you worry much"  

They all focus back at Banri as he picks up a call happily, 

"Hey Koko, .... , yeah I am coming home in a bit, ..., I miss you too~",

Banri hangs up the call and stands up "Guys I'll be dropping by the Festival club, will see you all tomorrow." 

"I'll go too!" 

Startled, Mitsuo adds to Banri as everyone glares at Mitsuo's sudden interest in the Festival Club...
