It was a weird day. It was kind of chilly out, and the clouds were rolled up over the sky. It was an ugly day. It was a good day though. Because Lauren Jauregui was balancing a pizza box on one hand (which was slightly burning her palm), and her phone making a call to a certain brunette in the other hand.
Lauren was kind of nervous. Kind of. She had never talked to this girl before outside of twitter, and well they had talked for a while now, and they pretty much knew each other like the back of their hands but she was Camila Cabello. She was Camila Cabello, who is a twitter-flop and a dork. Why was Lauren nervous? Oh yeah, because that dorky flop also has the face of the Gods and the personality of an angel. God, she was fucked.
And then there it was, the screen went from dark blue to now what seemed to be just the girls forehead. Okay, yeah, Lauren now sees why she has no reason to be nervous.
And then there was shifting.
And then Lauren saw Camila.
The real Camila.
"Okay, what's with the impromptu Skype call?" Camila blurted out. Wow, she really cuts to the chase. Lauren was actually taken aback, not because she was offended, but because of Camila's voice. It was nothing she imagined it like. She imagined something rough and maybe a little squeaky every once in a while, because of well, Camila tended to leave caps lock on for a majority of their conversations. Not that Lauren's complaining at all though, its quite fun trying to figure out if she's yelling at you or just really excited. But anyways, Camila's voice was quite a surprise. It was low and smooth, and it quickly became one of Lauren's favorite sounds ever.
"I wanted to show you the pizza I bought!" Lauren cheered, tilting the camera towards the pizza box in her hand. Which had probably burned a whole through her hand already.
Camila quirked up an eyebrow, "Really," She dragged on, "you called me over a pizza. Ask me why I'm not surprised?"
"Why are you not surprised?" Lauren asked, laughing slightly.
"Because you're you." Camila said, matter-of-factly. "And you're predictable."
"I don't know if thats a compliment or not..." Lauren said, eliciting a small laugh from the girl.
"Where even are you?" Camila asks, directing the conversation a whole different direction. "From the pictures you've sent me, your walls are blue. And well, you clearly aren't home. Is it a bad time to be talking? I'm sor-"
"Camila," Lauren interrupts the younger girl. "its not a bad time, and if I do remember correctly, I am the one that requested a Skype call."
"Yeah, sorry, I forget things. I'm not very good with my memory and all." Lauren hummed, nodding her head.
"Oh, and for your previous question, I am currently walking to a friends house." Lauren kept her answer as vague as possible. She wanted Camila to be surprised when she randomly shows up at her house.
"Save me a slice of pizza." She says, looking down at what Lauren assumes is her phone. "I'm like really hungry right now." Camila said, covering her face slightly so the only thing visible was her nose. Her adorable little nose.
