I've lost count of how many comments I've seen in this book such as "If she likes her, why did she confess to Jake?" or, "If she's a lesbian, why did she like Jake?" etc.

I want to make things clear and explain this to avoid further confusion. It's true that Jisu confessed to Jake before, BUT it was also stated in her pov that she told someone she liked him to redirect her feelings and forget her love for Eunji.

When I say that she "confessed," it doesn't necessarily mean she liked Jake and told him her true feelings. No. She merely used someone, who happened to be Jake, to try and redirect her feelings. It was like a rebound, but Jake rejected her.

And yeah, since a lot of people confess to Jake, she was nothing special, which is why he doesn't remember Jisu confessing to him. The same goes for Jisu. Jisu wasn't offended because she didn't really like him. It's just that Sowon and Eunji made a big deal out of it because it was Jisu's first time "confessing" to someone and being rejected.

Why did they make a big deal out of it? Because they thought Jisu was hurt by the rejection when, in fact, she was actually hurt for having feelings for Eunji, who is a woman and her best friend. And since Eunji and Sowon decided not to mention Jake or anything related to him and that event where Jisu was "rejected" they failed to clear up that misunderstanding.

So yeah, I hope there's no more confusion after this explanation. I can't read all of your comments, but I do read some of them, and I always seem to see those kinds of comments on this book.

Also, it wasn't Jisu who put Jake's number on the restroom wall. It was just a random angry girl who he rejected.
