Which will eventually grow large enough to render breathing impossible if left. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings or when the victim dies.
It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappear.

It has been weeks since (Y/n) started to cough up flower petals. They knew about what it meant but decided not to tell anyone.
Serene noticed how tired and terrible (Y/n) looked and decided to asked them about it. At first (Y/n) denied it but then they coughed up the flower petals.
Serene's eyes widen in shock, she knew about the disease but never thought it was real. She asked (Y/n) who their crush is.
"It's (C/n) but I know they only see me as a friend..." (Y/n) said as they wipe the blood off their mouth.
"Well, you will never know unless you try. So, what are you going to do? Do surgery or just let the disease take over?" Serene asked softly
