“Hey Ana! Get me 3 shots of vodka and 3 beers!” screamed Charlie. Charlie was my neighbor and always came to the club with his friends when he and his boss argue. He was a fat bald headed man but a sweet one when he is ready. “Sure Charles, give me a minute!!” I screamed over the music. I had on a green tank top with the club’s name “Freaky Friday” on the back, blue skinny jeans and my green and white high top Nikes. I never wore heels to work because I always have to walk up and down. My hair was up into a ponytail but it still reached my waist. I got Charlie his drinks then went to attend my other customers. I always cracked jokes with the regulars and give advice to the newbies. The music was pumping, the club was packed and some people were really drunk. I started dancing when Katy Perry’s Last Friday Night started playing. I served people while singing and dancing earning extra tips. “Hey sexy!” I spun around to see my friend Clarrisa smiling down at me. She was 5’11” but with the heels on she probably reached 6 feet. She had big blue eyes and shoulder length blond hair. “Hey sweets! What can I getcha?!?” I said with a wink. “Bottled water because apparently I’m the designated driver tonight.” She said while pouting. I laughed and said “Who you with tonight? Jules and Rock?” She nodded her head while pouting. Jules and Rock were her twin brothers who always made her the designated driver when they went clubbing. It was always hilarious because Clarrisa can’t stay away from alcohol. “Here ya go Clari.” She nodded her head then turned around to look for her brothers. Suddenly hands wrapped around my waist. “Clay!!!” I whined. “One of these days I’m gonna hit you where the sun don’t shine if you keep doing that!!” I turned around a playfully punched him in the shoulder. Clay is 6 feet tall, has short brown hair and light brown eyes. “You're no fun Ana Banana.” He said using my nickname. “Anyways your shift is over and have you noticed the hot guy eying you??” He pointed towards the far right hand corner of the bar. I laughed. “Clay you know I don’t pay attention to those things while I’m working. Clay rolled his eyes and said “Yea Yea Whatever. Go and talk to him please!! He’s hot!!!” Yes Clay is gay but he is really handsome for a gay guy. “Sorry Clay not interested. I’m going to dance my butt off then I’m going to head home. Don’t you dear try to hook me up either.” I said glaring at him. Clay pouted and mumbled “fine.” I kiss him on the cheek and move from behind the bar. I start headed towards the dance floor. Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO starts playing. I start dancing getting into the music. Everyone’s jumping, singing and dancing. Some guy starts break dancing so everyone created a circle around him. I laugh and cheer along with the crowd. “Anastasia.” I hear someone whisper my name. I turn around to see the guy Clay pointed to a while ago. “Yes?!” I ask over the music. “Can we talk? Somewhere private? It’s important.” The mystery guy says while looking around. I took this time to check him out. He looked like he was 6’4” which was towering over my small frame. He had messy brown hair that fell over his eyes and deep blue eyes that seemed to spark. “Your name please.” I said sternly but politely. “Romeo, Romeo Marquis.” He answered while smiling. I looked intently at him to see if he was worth my time or could be trusted. His eyes showed sincerity so I decided to give him a chance. “Follow me!” I walked away from the crowd with him following towards the staff room. “Hey Joe” I greeted the body guard “he’s with me.” Joe nodded and moved aside from the door. We walked in and towards the lounge area. I sat in one of the chairs and he sat in one opposite of me. “So Romeo, what is so important? I’m warning you though, if it is something ridiculous like wanting my number or wanting to meet me, I will be pissed off and…” “No No! It’s nothing like that.” Romeo said interrupting my threat. I relaxed into my chair. “What is it then?” He watched me intently then said “I am like you. I am an elemental.”
