I opened one eye sleepily as I heard a bang. I sat straight up, full awake. I wasn't in my bed. I was on a coach. I looked around, I was in a big living room with a couple of couches, a flat screen TV screen, with an adjoining kitchen and dining room. I must be at Jonathan's apartment, he must have brought me to his apartment after our outing at Baskin-Robbins. I heard him quietly humming from the kitchen. I got up and checked my reflection in the TV screen. My makeup was smeared a little bit, my hair was messy, and my clothes were crumpled. I smoothed my clothes over with my hand and redid my hair as best as I could and wiped the smeared mascara off. At least I looked acceptable now. I walked into the kitchen.

"Morning, Emily. Want some coffee?" Jonathan asked me, already getting it out.

"Yes please!" As he put coffee maker on I asked him what happened last night.

He leaned back against the counter, facing me. "You fell asleep the second you got in the car, so I tried to get you the guest room, but Kaner was completely wasted from Seabs' party and had crashed in there. I didn't want you to have to sleep in his god forsaken room, so I just put you on the couch. I'm sorry about that." He flashed me an apologetic smile. I grinned sleepily.

"It's all good. Thank you so much for doing that." He handed me my coffee.

"It was my pleasure. I had fun last night." He grinned. I smiled back as I took a long sip from my coffee.

"Hmmmmm. Yeah, last night was great!" I breathed in the scent of coffee. Jonny chuckled. We both sat there quietly while I finished my cup.

"Hey well, I have a morning skate in two hours, do you want to come with me? Or do you want me to drop you off on the way there?" He asked.

"Would you mind if I just went back to my apartment and grabbed some stuff and then came back for your skate?" I asked.

"Sounds great." I smiled at him as I headed to the door.

"Hey wait, do you need a ride there?" He asked concerned.

"Nah, I'll walk. It's not too far away."

"Would you mind if I walked you?" I grinned at him.

"I wouldn't mind that."

We headed out. It was pretty warm for October in Chicago, low seventies.

"Weather's real nice for October." I remarked.

"Yep, it's real nice." He replied happily. "Hey! It's Starbucks! We should get something." He looked down at me.

"Yes!" Our strides lengthened as we approached. The door dinged as we opened it.

We looked at the overhead menu. "What do you want?" He asked me. I raised my eyebrows.

"I'm paying this time. Sorry bud." He winked at me as he ordered his mocha coffee and I ordered my hot chocolate. I went up to pay and got my wallet out, opened it and was surprised to see I didn't have any cash with me, only change. I looked back at Jonathan. He had a little victorious smirk on his face. I glared at him. He chuckled and game the barista a ten dollar bill and handed me my hot chocolate. We walked out.

"What did you do with my wallet, buster?" A giggle threatened to escape my lips as he turned his doe eyes at me, making a puppy face. I glared at him playfully. "No, but seriously, what did you to do it? I'm pretty sure I had a twenty dollars in there." He shrugged and took out his wallet, gave me my money and my credit card.

"I kind of knew we were going to go to take a pitstop, and I knew you were going to insist on paying. I just kinda, well, yeah." He gave me a small smile. This guy just keeps getting cooler and cooler. We turned onto my street. We continued talking until we walked into my apartment and I unlocked the door. I was so glad I had remembered to clean the place yesterday.

"Do you want me to wait here?" Jon asked.

"Sure." I nodded. I walked into my room and changed into a Blackhawks sweatshirt and skinny jeans, fixed my hair, and fixed my makeup. I came out to see Sophie talking to Jonathan.

"You ready?" I asked him.

"Yep." We walked back to his place and played Mario Kart until the time came for us to leave for his practice.

"Kaner! Let's go, man!" We both looked at each other chuckled as we a heard a groan coming from upstairs. Kane came downstairs sluggishly.

"Can I get some coffee first?" He asked groggily.

"We can stop at Starbucks." Jonathan replied. "Now get your ass upstairs and get dressed, we need to get going pretty soon." Kane rolled his eyes and trudged upstairs. Jonny shot me smile.
"Sorry about him. He's weird." I laugh.

Sorry guys! I was starting school and all that crap, anyways, here ya go! :)
