Process of Moving

Dear Journal,
(three days prior)

I have been waiting to move my entire life. But my parents never wanted to. Now that I'm 18 and they are getting old they are finally letting me move...and they're coming with me. They couldn't decide this earlier? Anyways, in three days I will be in L.A. and I am so excited! It's time for me to follow my dreams. And good thing my parents are coming once I get a place because I'm not sharing a motel with them. Once I get a place they will look for a place too and move down here with me but they won't be a burden since they will already have a place. Of course I'm moving to Northridge, Los Angeles, California because it's absolutely gorgeous there and I'm not right in all the commotion in the city. Moving from Colorado to California is already a big enough jump. Though I do hope I'll find a place fast so that I can get all my stuff shipped to where I'll be living. But until then, all I have is some clothes and a couple thousand dollars to get me started. And a few special items. But no furniture yet. I just can't wait to get there and start auditioning to everything there is. My dream is to become an actor. And that's what I'll do. My plane is 2 days from now so I better prepare myself. Even though I've been prepared my whole life for this.
