The sky was black but the stars and the moons lit the main road up, still, together with the light bulbs in the houses. Gradually, children started to come out of the houses, with scarves on their neck. Joanne couldn't find a scarf in the wardrobe, so she could just 'enjoy' the cold. Teeny little snowflakes fell down and kids sprinted to catch them. Some fell, some cried, and some was successful. The whole Hogsmeade was full of laughters of kids, running around with excitement. Joanne held Amaryllis's hands and felt safe, which was unusual for an adult to feel that way by a child.

"Come on, Claudia! Join me, Chrystal, Alesha and Madeleine in a snow ball fight!" Amaryllis skipped and found her friends.

"Who's that?" a girl with light brown hair which was down to her shoulders, blue eyes, and wore a thick orange hoddie whispered to Amaryllis.

"Madeleine, Chrystal and Alesha, this is our new friend, Claudia! Introduce yourselves to her!" Amaryllis announced proudly.

The girl who earlier, had whispered to Amaryllis was Alesha Hareven.

"I'm Chrystal Cusatellic. Same age as Amaryllis." The girl with ginger hair, emerald green eyes introduced.

"I'm Madeleine Manninghem. Same age as Amaryllis." said the other girl, who was the shortest amongst them, had chestnut brown eyes, with chocolate brown hair.

"Let's start our snowball fight!" Amaryllis called out thrillingly.

Joanne didn't know what to do, she blinked and blinked. It was getting chilly and darker as the lights in houses started to be switched off.

"Come on, Claudia, you're on my team of Snowball fight! The aim is to hit Lane, which is Madeleine's nickname and Chrystal to score points. You also have to avoid snowballs. Start!"

Joanne was still clueless about the rule, but they've started. Amaryllis was very good at this game. She ducked every time she caught sight of a snowball being thrown. Alesha whispered to Lane,

"Only attacking Amaryllis doesn't help at all, I'll attack Cloudia."

"Sure but it's Claudia." Lane murmured half giggling.

Joanne was very alert now, Alesha was trying to attack her. Swiftly, she grabbed some snow and rubbed it until it was something like a ball. Before she even can stand up, Alesha's snowball was spinning at her but fortunately, it missed. Joanne picked up some snow and squashed it into a snowball. She threw it at Lane but clearly, Lane leapt away.

"Alesha, I'm going to find more snow down the street!" Lane cried as she darted away.

"Halt! We have to wait until Lane comes back because it is not fair without her." Amaryllis commanded.

They found a bench and sat uncomfortably.

"You could have dinner in my house tomorrow, with my brother and Claudia." Amaryllis suggested.

Felix trotted over and spoke, "Well Amaryllis, that old hag sent me to pick you up."

"She's not an old hag!!" Amaryllis shouted while was followed her brother reluctantly. "Bye guys."

Alesha waved goodbye and moved an inch closer to Joanne.

"Lane is taking such a long time to collect the snow, let's search for her!"

Joanne was dragged away and Alesha started to dash. They slipped over a couple of times and Alesha, had damaged her jeans. She was so desperate to find one of her best friend, Lane. Joanne huffed and puffed but still, she followed Alesha into an alley. It was dark and full of card boxes, and an opened sewage door. Joanne thought there wasn't sewage systems in the Wizardry World, so why would an opened trapdoor on the ground be doing there? The alley was covered by snow and ice, and they had to be extra careful.

"Be'er go to bed, kidz!" A old man with a moustache cried from above, he thought that Joanne was a child.

Alesha simply ignore what he said and barked,

"There's so much snow in this alley, Lane must have been here. Footprints! Aha! Lane! It's Alesha, come out!"

Joanne frowned, it's not that big here, how could Lane be hiding in the snow? Is that footprint just an illusion? Alesha stepped on the opened trapdoor, like she didn't see it.

"The sew-" Joanne was too slowly, Alesha's foot was stepped directly on the hole.

"Aahhhh!"

*******

Trudging into the pink little cottage, Madam Puddifoot was washing dishes and cleaning up the table. Felix, whose eyelids were collapsing, clambered up the stairs while Amaryllis, sighed heavily. She stormed into the bathroom.

"Good night sweeties." She voice. "Wait, Amaryllis! The toilet-"

Suddenly, waves of water just shot out and hit Amaryllis onto the ground. The waves were fierce and in a second, the whole tea shop and the tables were out of sight. Madam Puddifoot's heart nearly leapt out as she darted towards Amaryllis. Water came splashing onto her face as wooden signs which were hanging on the ceiling fell off.

"Help! Aahh-" a high pitched cry from above sounded.

Madam Puddifoot pulled Amaryllis with all her might out of the water and placed her on the stairs. Amaryllis fainted and Madam Puddifoot had no idea how to help.

"Madam Puddifoot! Ahh!"

Madam Puddifoot heard a shriek upstairs and she knew the scream was from Felix for sure. Sweats trickle down her face as she dragged Amaryllis upstairs. She then darted towards Felix's bedroom. She placed her hands on the door nob, twisted it with her right hand, and forced the cracking purple door open. Then, all saw was mist in the bedroom, just like a white thick blanket.

"Felix! Felix, where are you?"

No answer.

Utter silence.

She trotted to her pink bedroom, opened every single drawer to find her wand. She then crawled on the floor and she discovered that her wand was under her bed. Squashing her hands under the bed, she could almost reach it. Knowing that her arm was too chubby and short to reach her wand, she dashed to the storage room, coming back with a branch that Felix once used to pretend to play quidditch. Poking and poking again, her wand slid towards her and she grabbed it. Scurrying to Felix's bedroom, THUD, she heard.

The mist seemed to be fading away as she crept in,

"Lumos."

"Madam Puddifoot!"

She heard Felix. Following her instincts, she tip-toed towards the window, then, she bumped into something.

"Felix! Quick, get out of here!" Madam Puddifoot hollered.

"Madam, my left leg... it hurts so much that I can't walk..." Tears rolled down his sweaty face as he attempted to crawl away.

Madam Puddifoot was kind, she picked Felix up and carried him out of his room. Then, she sat him down on the stairs, next to Amaryllis, who was still blacked out.

"Your shop, it flooded! My new invented rocket, it's down there! Amaryllis? Is she dead? What happened?"

Madam Puddifoot knelt down and felt Amaryllis's heart beat and she could here some breathing sound coming out from her.

"She's coming back! Yay!" Felix yelled.

Soon, Amaryllis's eyes opened and she rolled her a side.

"I'm wet." She muttered.

"Yes, the flood hurled you away. However, I caught you." Madam Puddifoot toned.

"Felix's left leg is bleeding!" Amaryllis noticed.

Madam Pudditfoot stepped into the storage room again, searching for a bandage.

"Where's Claudia?" Amaryllis questioned.
